Well I gave this to my son and he loves it especially the music setting. His favorite tune at the moment is from Guatemala? When he goes to bed my wife and I go head to head on Eureka!. - Top Educational Toy.
I'm so impressed with Andrei how fab is he!! I'm just trying to reserve this from toys r us in the uk they're gonna get back to me within 3 hours if its available to collect from the store (fingers crossed!!) There are quite a few of these on ebay though here at the mo if that's any use? :-)
@Aripaxon Hiya the toys r us near me didn't have it but i managed to reserve one at another toys r us about 20 miles from me (hurray) can't wait to give it to my little-un at xmas i hope he can get as good as Andrei :-) I think its only a bit tricky to get hold of these over here at the mo with it being close to christmas and they've been on offer i paid £49.99 instead of the normal £89.99 so lots have places have sold out but I can't see anything that says that they're discontinued yet :-)
@Aripaxon Couldn't fit anymore on my last message lol but I was going to say if it's just Andrei's pen that isn't working I think you can get replacement pens :-) I've found one on ebay that posts worldwide, just tried to send you the link but it wont let me post it on here :-(
They are still selling it here in the UK but I must admit a nuimber of shops I tried said it was out of stock which may mean it is a discontinued line and they won't be making any more. It's a shame if that is the case because it is a really great educational toy. You can tell Andrei I had a go on the Eureka game and scored '4' (it was still in the box though and I couldn't reach Norway) but still i think it will be a while before I'm as good as Andrei (if ever) -LOL!
@Nimbus3100 Thank you, on behalf of Andrei! Were you able to find this exact globe? My son tested it so much that the pen failed and now LeapFrog discontinued this toy.
The globe is so superb. I'm hoping to get one very soon :)
