So long as they know what it is you want when you say that word, it's all good to them. Dogs are capable of responding to a very large vocabulary. I love your rott, choppergirlJune! haha My Magge Mae used to to the same when she wanted to go out! I love Rotties. They are such amazing animals. So often abused and misunderstood. given a good home, they can be the best dog you can ask for. So loyal and loving.

When I was a kid, we had a rottie named Gus who was so gentle with me. He followed me around room to room to protect me. When I learned to walk it was from holding onto him. RIP Maggie Mae and Gus. My favorite Rotten Rotties. =) BTW awesome rottie!

@unchartedfan818 Do your homework. Rottweilers are excellent family dogs but need an experienced owner and have a firm understanding of training working breeds. The dog must match your personality, lifestyle, ect.. Rotties need a lot of love, time, and attention... he is almost 10 weeks old now.. and i got like 5 days ago! i took him away from his mother and when i brought him back home he was sooo afraid for 2 days.. and still he doesnt play alot and he doesnt welcome me when am back home.. he loves me and when i go to sleep he cries cause he wants me next to him.. is this gona stay for a while or will it stop?
