  • What about Terminator 2? That shit was fucking awesome back in the days, and it still is.

  • I'm gonna go watch Blues Brothers now...for the second time in a day...

  • i don't give a fuck if it's digital Speed Racer rocked!

  • @Poonard have you seen the original cartoon ?

  • James Bond movies always have awesome car chases, also Indiana Jones movies

  • Sorry, but the greatest car chase of all time is definitely from...TOY STORY!

  • damn munber 3 , oh well, goodbye cruel world

  • about to watch the clip, if bullitt isnt nr 1 then ill lose all hope

  • Charlie Sheen's The Wraith was my first favorite.

His car, the Turbo Interceptor can somehow regenerate after every crash.

  • People, He said specifically it's HIS personal top 10 chases, Who are you to criticize his favorites?

  • Death Race 2000 should have the spot in your countdown.

Starring: David Carradine & Sylvester Stallone

  • overrated shit

  • @TheDroot2 You're mum was over rated.

  • what about "The other guys" car chase scene

  • Where is the chase at 0:38 from?

  • um, Ronin?

  • Comment removed

  • I kinda agree with the list but, I missed Mad Max 2 on it.

  • wow the start scarde me

  • Would have put Ronin in there, not at the top perhaps, but in there non the less.

    Bullitt will always reign supreme!

  • so basically this is a list for someone who hasnt seen a movie made before 1980 and was born after 1987..no Bullit, French Connection, or Ronin...and to give Tarantinos most boring movie an accolade is laughable and completely discredits this list.

  • @roadwarrior980 bullit is on number 3

  • @roadwarrior980 i'm sorry for you, but for what you said about death proof, god will not allow you in heaven.

  • what the hell why isn't the one from bad boys 2 on there what the fuck

  • I saw the best car chase movie is Disney Pixar's Cars

  • @SuperHobo1234567 what!?

  • @ethanandchelle Lol, I am TOTALLY joking.

  • Where the hell is Ronin!?!

  • I like the car chase scene from Castle of Cagliostro. :P

  • They had green screens in the SIXTIES??? I didn't know that!

  • Love ronin, love duel

  • I would say Ronin, Bourne Identity, Bourne Supremacy chases were better. Gone in 60 Seconds (remake) was good too and what about Bad Boys 2? Transporter was good too, and Terminator 1 was awesome. The TVR chase in Swordfish was good but too short. Cant forget the Tumbler in The Dark Knight.

  • Just saw Duel. Most say that it most be one of the most entertaining movies i've ever seen. I was biting my nails thru the 3/4 of the movie.

  • I know it's cliche, but thumbs up if you actually saw Grindhouse in the theater.

  • Solid list. I'd also put Death Proof at #1.

  • my number 1 for me would be the transporter 1

  • although I agree with most of these why is there no Smokey and the Bandit

  • @rushyboy132 It does appear, look at the intro.

  • @rushyboy132 He mentioned it in the beginning when flashing movie titles. Hes doing his personal favorites. Or else this video would be over an hour long which I wouldn't mind either.

  • blues brothers should've been #1

  • terminator 2

  • Press 5 for the haters :D

  • of course, the truck is FASTER than the Car self.. uhum. Not the first time that I see scenes like this.

  • 0:51, reminds me of that scene from the Muppets

  • Death Proof: Sexy girls and badass cars. How can you go wrong?

  • Terminator 2...come on! It has the best chase scenes. Granted that technically they are motorcycles, dirtbikes, semitrucks, helicopters, and SWAT van chase scenes and not actually cars...but come on! It fits somewhere in this list I'm sure of it.

  • if u like car chases chech out convoy and herbey rides agin

  • Gone in 60 Seconds!!!! WTF? it should be #1 lol

  • Mad Max and Gone in 60 seconds (1974) are also good

  • this list lacks of fine,all-australian,B class 70's filmaking,I mean,C'MON

there is a documental about australian B class films from the 60's and 70's and those guys are really on it with the risk, just look at MAD MOTHAFUCKING MAX,WHEN IT COMES DOWN TO CAR CHACES,FUCK YOUR LIST,THE ROAD WARRIOR IS THE BOSS

  • Death Proof?! Oh dear James..

However I was pleased to see Duel in the list! :D

  • Opening scene of Mad Max. Nuff said

  • no ronin? why

  • I never understood why the girl driving in Death Proof didn't just stop the car and let her friend get off the bonnet. I know that its a grindhouse film and I do think that its an ace chase but I've watched it with other people who all said the same thing, just stop the car.

  • @RRimmeRR If she had stopped the car Kurt Russel would have gotten them. It was either one of them (the one who makes a living off of death-defying stunts like that) at risk or all 3 of them dead.

  • @JamesNintendoNerd bullit should be number one nobody can defeat McQueen steering a mustang

  • Death Proof...the movie is all surrounded around 1 car chase and it was damn amazing!

  • @localoceans I just came from his channel just to comment about Death Proof....and I just watched it yesterday!

  • @localoceans now i finally have someone elsethat likes death proof.

  • You forgot VANISHING POINT, DIRTY MARY CRAZY LARRY, TWO LANE BLACKTOP and others , the original GONE IN 60 SECONDS is the best of them all. You need to watch these than you will definitely change your mind on this list. I'm sure a lot of others will agree with this.

  • THE FRENCH CONNECTION, Mad Max, OR T2? Where are they?

  • hello angryvideo game nerd (james rolfe) i want you to comment on my videos from gamelover451and gamelover450

  • @Cinemassacre,have you done a video collection with the worst corp. ad tie-ins in a movie?

  • oh and wheels of terror , also i think herbie goes to monte carlo had a good car chase - the black car, was chasing herbie for a diamond they ended up crashing lol ,

  • he missed the chase obviously , that was the longest, and how about dukes of hazard or mad max

  • gone in 60 seconds

  • Great video but do somebody know what movie is 0:15 ?

  • And just to add to the people who hate Death Proof... Death Proof works in a whole because the scenes of characters conversing for a long period of time distract you from the horror and true edge of your seat moments to come. Seeing these people go on about their lives and conversating like we all do about nothing, makes the car chase scenes all that more real and scary because in reailty no one cuts from our conversations to a next scene and like in reailty, disaster can strike at any moment.

  • Good job on picking Death Proof for number 1. Definitely one of the most truly exciting and scary car chase scenes in over 20 years.

  • FUCK YEAH. Thank you for choosing Death Proof. I saw so many bad reviews of that movie, bitching that it spends too much time on characters talking. For one, yes it does, but that's missing the point. Second, it's so the car scenes, when they do come, have weight. You know these people by now, so it MEANS something when they're in peril. Action films (and horror films) don't work if you don't care if anyone dies.

  • SMOKEY AND THE BANDIT ALL THE WAY!!

  • Why would you show Speed Racer as an example of car chases being unrealistic. That's unfair given the type of movie it is. Its a scifi trip of a movie based on an old school anime featuring unrealistic cars racing. It is EXACTLY what it should have been.

  • @RnSDragon i know i was going to say the same thing

  • what made Duel great was one thing: DENNIS WEAVER!!

  • i like the matrix 2 one

  • Comment removed

  • Vanishing Point!!!! The two cars in Death Proof are only used in homage to "Bullitt" his number 2 and "Vanishing Point" which wasn't even on his list.

  • Number 3 is my favorite!

  • Where is Bourne trilogy????? Raw and realistic.

  • Disappointing.

  • Bullitt. Steve McQueen with a Ford Mustang Fastback chasing a 68 Dodge Charger has to be #1. Without it, where would movie car chases be?

  • Comment removed

  • it is asome!

  • the movie THE CAR had a good chase in it...

  • Death Proof definitely deserves to be on that list, maybe not number 1. But no CGI effects for the whole scene, Zoe Bell actually on the hood without an actual safety harness. Just 2 belts tied to the fucking doors. The cars kicked ass and so did the scene, it did get an award for the car chase. Google that shit.

  • RONIN NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

  • The reason I like death proof the best is because it has my fav. Car and my brothers favorite car in one car chase. And because Zoe bell was actually on the hood of that car. No harness, no safety, just a solid medal piece of art and the road.

  • people forget the chase from "To Live And Die In LA!

  • FUCKING LAME!!! The number 1 should be excluded. shit hole movie!

  • @durko83 youre fucking stupid

  • How could the chase from Cobra not be included?? WTF

  • Dick Shawn is a riot, but there's no way that Death Proof is better than The Blue Brothers chase sequence. Death Proof isn't better than anything. Tarantino is sloppy and a fool.

  • @purvicide yeah FUCK Tarantino!

  • than kyou so much for putting duel up there i love that movie and couldnt remember the title

  • Where was terminator? There were two car chases for heavens sake!!

  • french connection? italian job?

  • vanishing point?

  • BAAADDD BOOOOYYYYSS 2222222222222222!!!!!!!!!

  • Sorry, but why did they have to wreck a '69 charger and '70 chellenger. why.

i mean, at least use a kit car or something

  • Ronin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I just cant stop thinking about Cobra for some reason. That was one hell of a race!

  • seriously? none of the Bourne car chases? fucking bull shit man!

  • @FALLOUTVEGASBOY12 lol that was actually a parody from a scene of the blues brothers

  • Where was Dirty Mary Crazy Larry? Crappy list.

  • Deathproof as #1? Please..

  • 5:12. DAT ASS.

  • The "original" gone in 60 seconds 40 minute car chase for #1

  • the driver?

  • what no family guy mall scene :/

  • If it doesn't include the chase in "To Live and Die in LA", it's bogus.

  • @bayzine why whats so good about that movie i have honestly never seen it and honestly dont want to,

  • Micheal bay is a fuckhead, but the island's 10 minute chase was absolutely epic.

  • My favorite's easily Bourne Identity :3

  • i know im not british but i think james bond die another day car chase should be on here or at least one with an aston martin!

  • Blues Brothers,,I thought that car chase was hilarious!

  • do top 10 zombie

  • Where's Terminator 2's Arnold VS T-1000? That was pretty epic.

  • @ 1:29 that happened to a car on one of my friends buses

  • Blues over Road Warrior or Thunderdomes chases at the end? Come on James, those were done with stunt men and NO special effects and define CHASE in movies. Cool list though, i know everyone has there own opinion.

  • What about the 10 minute car chase with the blue ferrari 575M Maranello from bad boys II?

  • I KNEW IT WOULD BE DEATHBROOF

  • THE BEST CAR CHASE SCENE!!

"The Bourne Ultimatum" When Bourne enters the police car:D!!

In that movie they introduced new cliches which will be used in later movies:D!!

  • Why isnt the Nazi Dessert Chase from Raiders of the Lost Ark on here.

  • Comment removed

  • @johnmrrs what!?!?!?! i mean sixty seconds of 70's not the 2000 shit

  • nice choices - there were obviously other films that could have been chosen but I think your choices were great! There were a couple of films here I've never even heard of but the chases look great - top marks for Deathproof as number 1, too.

  • The desert chase from Raiders of the Lost Ark should be here

  • man i have more respect to u now that u chose death proof...it is one of my favorite movies though very underrated

  • the car chase in tomorrow never dies was filmed in hamburg germany but the parking house doesent exist enimore

  • I always thought the Bourne Identity car chase scene was pretty good.

  • I drive the same bmw .. it hurts when i see this scene :( :D

  • I love Quentin Tarantino this guy is the greatest director ever my #1 and always

  • I like the beat-down those chicks gave that guy at the end of Death-proof.

  • Where is Ronin?

  • Bullut. The best. The Green Hornet that he destroyed in the movie was awesome, one of the last that were alive at the time it was filmed.

  • I don`t like car chases, but the one in Death proof is one of my favorite scenes all time.

  • ransom selection of a guy who hasn't seen much and is too young to make such a list

  • @TheGuWie I am pretty sure that James, two years younger than you, has seen (and make) much more than you, if we talk about cinema. Is a great selection and 5802 people more think like me. Only 260 think like you. Check it out.

  • @psychfallout I'm missing "The Bourne Identity", "What's Up, Doc?" or "Ronin" (though mentioned in the beginning) in that list. Those were real jaw-droppers. Furthermore having Blues Brothers (arguably the best car chase scene) being topped by "Bullet Proof" seems inapprehensible.

  • @TheGuWie I couldn't Disagree More. This is an incredibly good list.

  • The tomorrow never dies scene is still hilarious.

  • yaaaaa number is death proof! :) <3333

  • This was made 2 years ago you know

  • lol @ all the fags crying about this list.

  • Um...no Mad Max ????

  • 3.19 "this is steven speilberg at his finest" i'm guessing you've never seen schindlers list then? :/

  • @blablaman233 I think he means from his early day of almost no budget cinema.

  • @blablaman233 i persnally think jaws and duel is his best movies if you compare it to jaws schindles list its crap

  • @1337wuzty1337 jaws was a suspense movie about a killer shark, done very well but the plot revolves around a killer shark, schindlers list revolves around an event in history so big that it changed the way many people lived their lives, schindlers list depicts different sides to the human spirit in times of war, desperation and above all genocide, jaws is about a killer shark; need i say more?

  • @blablaman233 well just so you know i said jaws was his best just beacuse , schindlers list is based on a true story like saving private ryan doenst make it the best movie ever and i sayit again for good measures "JAWS IS MY FAVOURITE MOVIE FROM STEVEN SPEILBERG!"

  • @1337wuzty1337 fair enough if thats your opinion

  • I didn't know Dr. Phil was an actor in the 80's

  • the chase from the the blues brother is crazy

  • vanishing point nuff said racing up to 160 mph in a sexy white 1970 hemi challenger then smashing it into bulldozers thats how i want to go

  • Seriously, the "expert" who chose "Death Proof" as the number one chase truly is an idiot! After watching 30 minutes of inane dialog, I wanted to see all the women die quickly so the movie was over. And since I had no caring for any of the characters, I had no interest in a by the numbers car chase. And how Death Proof in any way, shape, or form can be considered better than any chase in The Road Warrior astounds me. But kudos to the narrator for kissing Quentin's butt.

  • Perfect List!

  • umm what about The Island ??? :P

  • DEATH PROOF SUCKED BALLS

  • other notable car chase / race films, Two Lane Blacktop, Vanishing Point, Crazy Mary Dirty Larry, the original Mad Max, and before the Duke's of Hazard's weekly tv show car chase there were moonshine running films like Robert Mitchum's Thunder Road.

I think that Vanishing Point and Crazy Mary Dirty Larry should be on the top list since they both end their chases with a fiery crash. then don't forget all those truck driver films, Gumball race movies, then there is roger corman's Eat My Dust and

  • WHY NO MR BEAN :D

  • One of the silliest car chases I've seen was in Matrix 2. I found it terribly distracting and comical that every single car on the road was a GM model. I know embedded advertising is common in movies but damn that was just stupidly over the top. I guess they thought most people wouldn't notice, but anybody who takes an interest in cars is bound to.

  • My favorite, and by far the most realistic chase I've ever seen is the original Gone in 60 Seconds. Not the modern remake.

It was basically unscripted and even includes an accident (unintended) that put the driver in the hospital. They had to finish up the scene a few months later. It also incorporates lots of humor despite being realistic at the same time.

  • DEATH PROOF IS THE BEST MOVIE AND THE BESTCAR CHASE EVER!

  • mine would've included Die Hard with a vengeance and Lethal Weapon 4, but I agree with Duel,Blues Bros., and Tomorrow Never Dies is my favorite 007 movie.

  • I would have put bullet first

  • Ahem, Bourne left out, come onnnnn! Taxi=awesome.

  • Raiders of the Lost Ark??????

  • Funny, the top comments has 93 likes and 39 likes

  • bulit rules!!!

  • How about the final chase sequence in the movie Vantage Point?

  • @Ebb1993isgreat Even though I didn't see Vantage Point yet, though...

  • And first blood?

  • What about mad max?

  • The final chase of Gone in 60 seconds should be in... especially when you know that Nicolas Cage did all the stunts

  • Blues Brothers and Mad Max.
