@kupski1 the other boxers pacquiao face were coming towards him so pacquiao looked good but mosley after he got knocked down started to back pedal and paquiao does not know how to cut the ring off. the same happen with cotto in the 12 round cotto started to run and pacquiao was getting frustrated and had trouble cutting the ring off. paquiao strenght comes from opponents coming towards him or fighting him toe to toe. marquez in this fight did not go blow to blow with him like in the other fights

PAC couldnt do his "in & out" movement since that only works when his opponent stays right in front of him. All JMM did was backpedal a half step, while always in the position to counter, was so meticulous from the start & what a combination counterpuncer he is. Excellent fight plan! Team Pacman drew a wrong game plan against Marquez...Manny tried to be as technical as possible. Consequently, he lost his agreesiveness and firepowers which he used to have in his previous fights. He has been successful being a slugger, ready to get hit in order to hit, a come what may attitude...Obviously, he needs to revisit his old styles where he had the killer instinct, agreesiveness and power. To be as technical as Marquez is just not his forte.

at first i thougt it was a robbery but after watching the replay i saw most of JMM's punches are blocked by pacquiao, and pacquiao was the one whos landing a good shot but sometime he misses. watch it again that what i recomend.
How are you going to expect a good fight when the other fighter keep running away from Manny and not being aggressive? @pinoykillaz Pacquiao no longer has to brawl to win fights. He showed great defensive skills last night and still be the more aggressive fighter. It's a disgrace to boxing when fighters are just content to run backwards against Pacquiao and expect it'll work. Before round 5 the corner asked Pac not to follow Marquez and for half a minute in that round both fighters were doing an awkward staring contest. People are taking Pac for granted at this point.

Marquez is not suppose to do enough for this fight, he's suppose to go further, once again he's the challenger. Like you said, Marquez's face looks worst than Pacquiao's during the fight. In Pacquiao vs Marquez fight, Marquez was stepping back the whole time, and his counter was about as even as Pacquiao's. Pacquiao attacked the whole time, and he had more attempted and connected punches. Overall, Pacquiao still wins. Some just need to open their eyes. I mean, watch it the second time, and be the judge, pause the video, decide wisely.

The videos are there,people can review it round by round as long as they want. The judges were right,MP won. It will be worst if they gave the belt to JMM whose only chance after the fight is a draw. It was really a fast phased bout. Reviewing the fight,i'm pretty sure many will change their minds and will agree either with the 2 judges (not with 116-112 judge).

PAC couldnt do his "in & out" movement since that only works when his opponent stays right in front of him. All JMM did was backpedal a half step, while always in the position to counter, was so meticulous from the start & what a combination counterpuncer he is. Excellent fight plan! Team Pacman drew a wrong game plan against Marquez...Manny tried to be as technical as possible. Consequently, he lost his agreesiveness and firepowers which he used to have in his previous fights. Marquez is not suppose to do enough for this fight, he's suppose to go further, once again he's the challenger. Like you said, Marquez's face looks worst than Pacquiao's during the fight. Pacquiao won the fight on the basis on points and number of punches landed. But the imagery and intensity of the fight really belongs to Marquez. Unfortunately for Marquez, he did not able to bring Pac down, which is what a contender must do when fighting against a champion.

I think this fight show how good both fighters are, but we have to remember that in this fight Pacman is the Champion on this title fight and Marquez is the contender so in order for Marquez to win he needs to be better than Pacman. After the fight it was more like a draw but I didn't see Marquez fight better than Pacman or Pacman fight better than Marquez so since this is a title fight the champion is still Pacman since there was no clear winner. If this wasn't a title fight then I take draw

all i can say is that marquez was the well-prepared boxer on the fight...
we cant blame the judges cause its a close fight.. yes, marquez have very clean shots over to manny but manny also answers back..marquez accuracy punches are great and manny threw a lot and many of them misses but still he connects..so at the end, pacquiao was the defending champs and marquez was the challenger and its a close fight so pacquiao wins by decision..
but again, marquez was the more prepared boxer..

I got this to manny by 2 points.. I have same scorecard as the judge.. But it could go either way.. Stats say it all.. and compubox have manny winning.. So i dont know really.. I knew this fight will be closed though.. Very hard to be a judge really.

I'm a huge Manny Pacquiao fan! However, I was disappointed tonight. I was ready for Pacman to KO Marquez so bad tonight, but somewhere midway through the fight I felt it was going to be a back-and-forth game instead of a brawl. I'm proud of Manny beating all these Mexican legendary fighters in the past, but AS A PACQUIAO FAN, I give this one to Marquez. "They" say things like "aggression" and "thrown and connected," but as a spectator all I saw was a definite, albeit narrow, win for Marquez.
