The number listed in their research is somewhere between 50 000-80 000. 600 000 is a number that was used by the Yugoslav regime to get more reparation payments from Germany. I don't know who Isreal Gutman is, but the Wisenthal Institue is a group of Professors from all around the world.

Why partizan forces, did not liberate Jasenovac, when the area around Jasenovac was already liberated by them??? Not only around it, bu 120 kilometers up to Croatian capital of Zagreb, the teritory was liberated.
The camp was liberated by camp inmates, not by Partizans. It is assumed that, because Partizans deliberately did not liberated the Jasenovac, almost 15 000 people (mostly Serbs) were slaughtered until the camp inmates liberated the camp.

@nedostizni2 You are not mentioning the 20 000 Croats who were killed. THats not my calculation, thats the calculation of the Simon Wiesenthal Institue and from many Serb and Croatian historians. The number listed in their research is somewhere between 50 000-80 000. 600 000 is a number that was used by the Yugoslav regime to get more reparation payments from Germany. I don't know who Isreal Gutman is, but the Wisenthal Institue is a group of Professors from all around the world.

Of course there were Croats killed in the Jasenovac camp. But their number is far less than the number of Serbs.

@nedostizni2 If their number is far less, why did the partizans decide to destroy the Jasenovac camp, instead of keeping it as a memory of this tragedy? They clearly tried to destroy all evidence. And if you want another source than look for Ivo Goldstein, a Croatian Jewish historian who also supports the numbers I mentioned.

Why partizan forces, did not liberate Jasenovac, when the area around Jasenovac was already liberated by them??? Not only around it, bu 120 kilometers up to Croatian capital of Zagreb, the teritory was liberated.
But they had an order not to liberate it!!! ...

The camp was liberated by camp inmates, not by Partizans. It is assumed that, because Partizans deliberately did not liberated the Jasenovac, almost 15 000 people (mostly Serbs) were slaughtered until the camp inmates liberated the camp.
Why there are names and surnames of all the 19.432 Serbian childeren slaughtered in Jasenovac? And you claim only 20 000 Serbs overall were killed in Jasenovac???

Why did Tito (the "cheif" Partizan in Yugoslavia, and Croat) never visit the Memorial area of Jasenovac after the war? Why?

Croatian politician and lobbyist Mate (Matthew) Mestrovic explained this "phenomenon" in 1991. by saying:

Yad Vashem is Jewish brainwashing tool. 6M is fraud, Ilya Ehrenburg claimed 6M # from 1942-43 b4 WW2s end! Declaring some1's death toll b4 all was over just sickening propaganda. Later on Polish authorities decreased # of Auschwitz victims from 4M to 1,5 M but guess what? Jewish 6M didn't change! It didn't affect Jews at all, even though they claim being 90% of all Auschwitz victims! Jasenovac could hold less than 3000 people...

@MrSerathor I have no intention on going in discussion with you. A man that claims, millions of Jews were not killed during WWII does not deserve my attention. Jasenovac was not a working camp, but mainly a death camp. Serbs, Jews and Gypsies were just brought in and killed, on some of the most monstrous ways.
There for the capacity does not matter. A lot of Serbs were also killed in the surrounding area of Jasenovac, not only in the camp.

Check out Jewish World almanac after WW2and see that their numbers decrease in Europe but increase in Palestine and in U.S.! Use your brain first when question WW2 propaganda which has become historised and taught in schools. People killed by partisans in Jasenovac after the war were just added to Nazi's victims. This was 1st shock when I talked to curator 2yrs a go! They have more scientific approach than Yugoslav authorities. There is evidence for 80-100k dead, total # is about 120k. Still too much. Everything else is speculation and exaggeration.

@73Cro Jasenovac in Croatia, was the third largest death camp in Europe. 600 000 Serbs, Jews, and Roma people (but mostly Serbs) were killed in it.
Croatian nazi state in the WWII is THE ONLY STATE IN HUMAN HISTORY, WHICH HAD SEPARATE DEATH CAMPS, ONLY FOR CHILDREN (Serbian children). Not even Germans did this.

The anti-serbian communist "Zemaljsko povjerenstvo Hrvatske za utvrđivanje zločina okupatora i njihovih pomagača" (translated: Croatian commissions for war crimes) made a list of something more than 600 000 people killed in Independent State of Croatia (1941-1945). Most of them were orthodox serbs, small number of jews, gypsies.
It is well know fact that, records about the names of the victims were only took part, in ca case of rich jews...
