  • there may be rules of the road or the ocean but you have to make way for the police/coast guard regardless.

  • aww it forgot to show the guy in cuffs after the video....... lol

  • Military and law enforcement vessels always have the right of way. Also, in every video I have seen of the Sea Shepard, they are always harrassing the other ships.

  • After years of working with the Candian CG, this was very unprofessional of them. REGARDLESS how much the sea shep were being aholes, you don't endanger the lives of your crew or those of others. Shame on BOTH captains for not heading the rules of the road and engagement.

  • It's sad that people have been misinformed about this specific event, my brother is one of the men with the Canadian coast guard, and informed me that the reason the Canadian Coast Guard is out with sealers is to insure they aren't harvesting in an ill manor. The Canadian Government allows sealing to take place for harvesting so the population doesn't expand to the point of OVERPOPULATION. If your worried about inhumane slaughtering, have a look at how they raise chickens for KFC.

  • People are uninformed on the issue, the inuit have been hunting seals for thousands of years. Nunavut was formed so that the laws would cater to a different culture. In an area with little to no vegetation and food supply through air freight, a seal can have many uses including but not limited to food, lamp oil, natural preservatives and clothing. As liberal thinkers we must be careful not push our customs on others.

  • @MrJERICHOJIM on top of that with the ice melting earlier in the year the polar bears are not getting enough time in their hunting ground thus creating a over population in seals..... the hunting is to maintain the ecosystem as well. too many seals equals over hunted fish equals no fish....

  • You guys are retarded! Go buy a Gucci bag and be proud when you look at it and say...Damnnn this was once a seal. Looks good with my new outfit tho! Righttttt onnnn! Lets do that! I hope they kill and make a hand bag out of you...there are rules and then they are rules, I want them to club you over the head and see what you say about that

  • I hate the sea shepherds they actually have my rooting for the whalers on their show.

  • The Sea shepherd claims to have been just documenting what was taking place. And to be fair perhaps they were. However, they were given a distance to keep. They did come within the radius that they were given and the Coast Guard Ship was tasked to protect the Canadians on the ice. What people overlook is there are ice experts on our large icebreakers, and the Sea Shepherd could have (un) intentionally caused bigger problems that they are not aware of. They are not professional arctic navigators

  • @NTRT11 I would be hard pressed to call them professional navigators period. They are kids playing sea pirate, and nothing more. And your comment is correct on all points.

  • looks like they rammed the canadian coast guard ship. Ive seen the their show and they are such incompetent assholes. They actually made the japanese whalers look dignified.

  • If seal wer as ugly as moose no one would care they hunted

  • I love how SS people are being so scared by the canadian coastal guards! (mommy..., mommy... I'm scared...) :)

  • Cant wait when are coast guards will have fking guns!

  • @MrMolsonM Will they?

  • @jeepdogpet harper is working on it cause the Americans is pushing pressure for are coast guards to be more equiped and to be more prepared for ennemie threats or keeping illegal people out* ( sorry my english i am french :o )

  • HAHA I Love it! Rules of the road??? Do they realize there on water and that there are no paved road any where in site! OMG TOO FUNNY!

  • @otahu26 You are an idiot. There are rules that mariners refer to as "Rules of the Road", they are the International Collision Regulations.

  • well its funny how these tofu farting tree huggers can try to interfear in an activity which has been going on since the colonization of this contenent, and is a way of life for many inuit and eskimo. You would figure that these "people" who have nothing to do but stick their noses into other peoples culture would at least do their research on the region they are trying to force their views on. as a trapper, hunter, fisherman, and prospector i wish nothing but ill will upon those who interfear

  • @NothernTrapper Fuck the eskimos up their stupid asses. If that's how they make their living then find another way to make a living.

You know what else had been going on for hundreds of years? Slavery. It doesn't mean that it has any legitimacy whatsoever.

And it's "interfere," not "interfear." Christ, and I thought Americans were stupid.

  • @mgm8822

And do what Moron, hunt and sell Ice? you know nothing about survival because you're a City or Suburb kid with some rich Mommy or Daddy who shielded you from real life, they do this for survival and to keep their families fed, while you play World of Warcraft, get fat and complain. Go fuck off and keep your comments about topics you can't even fathom to yourself.

And you know what, maybe they should of kept slavery maybe then, niggers wouldn't kill each other.

  • Wow they were in a foreign country disobey the local authorities, they got what they deserved simple as that!

  • I don't think the coast guard is supposed to make course corrections fo get away from another ships whose going too slow. Not sure but I've heard they get in shit for random course changes

  • "Completely off limits" get the FUCK out of our waters you hippies!!! How about we put a few Frigates?? this is a warning, DO NOT ENDANGER OUR PEOPLE OR YOU WILL BE ARRESTED, OR SUNK!!!!! You fucking lunatics! BTW THE RULES OF THE ROAD, OUR ROADS, ARE WRITTEN BY US!!!!!! YOU OBEY US IN OUR WATERS, OR YOU WILL BE ARRESTED, OR SUNK! Fucking hippies

  • "Rules of the road" say listen to the Canadian Coast Guard when in Canadian waters... So when they say leave, you leave. You just got just desserts.

  • This is opposite. SS should have bumped the ship of the coast from behind.

  • They should sink these retards...

  • The Canadian Goverment is smart the seals are overpopulating

  • The most prominent nav rule there is is all parties involved shall do everything in their power to avoid a collision. In this case, sea shepherd let the ccg hit them to prove a point so both parties are at fault. The sea shepherd can believe in whatever they want but they are wreckless and tv makes themselves look like victims. Theres alot of things you can do with editing.

  • I'm constantly amazed how these self-righteous pricks keep running up under the bows of ships that are underway on a straight course, then whine that they 'have the right of way' and yell about nautical rules of the road. They put themselves in the path of large vessels on purpose and intend to be rammed. I say sink the bastards.

  • I doubt you guys were in international water and Im glad the Coasties were there , to protect the sealers you guys wouldnt look so heroic like if you knocked one of the sealers of the ice and he drowned , the way you handle your zodiacs and your vessels is by know means safe and sooner or later someones gonna die and you guys better ready to be professional and accept that responsibility cause you sure arent now .oops I forgot you guys arent professional .

  • It is easier to hate on an far off asian than a country than one is usually identified as caucasian and near to you. Thats why this video has less veiws than some "other ones". Racism is the Sea Shpherd's ways. Racism, propganda and deciet.

  • Maybe Americans shouldn't be trespassing in Canadian waters.

  • Sea Shepherd was trespassing in Canadian Waters, their lucky they didn't get arrested.

  • @darerock51 they did actually they refuse to leave because they were idiots and the coast guard was sent on there ship to arrest them

  • Canadian Coast Guard Fucking Sucks! Canada Fukking SUkks!

  • @GypsyKing7 Never left your own country. Because if you did you would realize what a shit hole you live in.

  • @GypsyKing7 At least use Canadians can spell 'fuck' right, you stupid fucking gringo.

  • @GypsyKing7 canada sucks? funny, the only people in the world who have anything negitive to say about canadians is americans, and thats because they are jealous little bitches

  • @101andrewj hell, im american, and i think those eco-terrorist needed a good ramming

  • @BlueCloneTrooper521 i do too, theirs nothing wrong with the seal hunt, its actually good for canada to control their over populated populations, so they dont eat all our artic fish.. i was defending canada, not the sea shepard.. they should go fight japs who are actually doing something wrong and get the fuck out of canada... i wish the canadian forces had done some israel boat raid type shit to them...

  • Im with them for the whole stop the whaling thing but the seals need to be controlled

  • if you piss of canada you know your a failure, and truly nobody likes you.

  • @Failbot9000 hey people like canada

  • @hockeydude1239 nah dude people love canada.... awesome awesome place

  • @Failbot9000 yea im from hamilton canada but harper is gay we need 2 get rid of him and get some1 that will stop sealing

  • your a idiot.. the seal hunt is no different from any other sort of hunting in north america... they only hunt 2 weeks out of the year, and they only hunt a set amount of seals, for population control, i bet you didnt know, that these seals, are far from endangered, there is actually so many of them, they are over eating canadas fisherys and killing our eco systems... and shooting them is dangerous and expensive, so they club them... brutal, but necessary

  • @101andrewj i totally agree with you, the seals are far from endangered and need to be kept under control, sea shepherds are just a bunch of tree huggers.........

  • @Traxxas4908 exactly, if you got canadian military icebreakers assisting in the seal hunt you can bet theres a good reason for it... people act like canada is just running out there and clubbing seals for fun, and with no knowledge of what they are doing... the seal hunt was banned in canada for 20 years, and durrin that ban, the harp seal population went from under 2 million in canada to over 6 million in 2005

  • @Traxxas4908 This is how we roll up here in Canada baby!!! if those were Americans, im sure we would be there just the same!!! To these eco terrorists i say, get the fuck out of our waters, or be arrested and have your vessel sunk. This is rediculous! These lunatics shouldnt be allowed ANYWHERE NEAR our civilians! Especially civilians standing on iceflows in the ocean! I believe that a Halifax frigate should be on station just waiting for the Farley Mowat. And then, FIRE A HARPOON MISSILE!

  • @101andrewj no your the idiot there not over eating r fish they where on this earth a lot longer then we have and there have all ways been anuf fish 4 them but then we came and as u say there not as many if thats true then we r over fishing not the seals and its bull fuck that it cost 2 much 2 shoot them they make so much money and its not dangerous theres no 1 on the ice when they shoot they club them cuz they have no hearts u fucking retard go burn in hell if u support this slauter of seals.!

  • the seals are OVER POPULATING, and OVER EATING their prey. this is scientific fact, and that is why the canadian government allows 2 weeks out of the year to be OK to hunt seals, so we can keep them in check, we arnt killing them all, we just kill a few so there numbers stay steady and controled, and the first year the seal hunt was brung back, something like 60 gunshot related injurys in 2 weeks, so the year after that, they began using the clubs... again, bruital, but necessary

  • @101andrewj well i think humans are over populated how many are there 7 billion or something, is it ok then to kill 300k humans in a year? no

So if you want to de-populate something , start with yourself. and bye the way, seals are not killed because they are over eating. there killed for your fancy schmancy clothes.

  • humans are deffently not good for the world, but thats another issue, of course killing 300 thousand humans a year would be good for the world, but it cant be done... and by the way, i never seen one person wearing seal anything, they are killed to perserve the way of life for the natives in canadas north, and to control the seal population, and in turn, canadas northern fisherys.. some animals if left unchecked can do major damage to a eco system, and america does the exact same thing

  • @hockeydude1239 the canadian government is alot smarter then you, and they allow this hunt to continue, so stfu... instead of just watching seals get clubbed and then crying about it, try to learn and understand why these seals are being clubbed in the first place

  • The coast guard did not ram the sea shepherd.... the sea shepherd kept creeping closer and closer to the coast guard. They hit the coast guard.

  • dirty cunts

  • @thebarrybarry

O whats wrong... did one of your whale huggers almost get hurt by us...

  • To bad the coasties did not sink the SS. Seals are tasty!

  • Sea Shepherd deserves to be sunk.

  • I think what the Sea Shepherd's do is amazing! It's just not right to destroy our world's oceans, killing whales and marine wildlife for "scientific research" or profit. I'll always support Captain Paul Watson and SSCS 100 percent. I truly hope to join and help put an end to this BULLSHIT after i'm done with school.

  • GO CANADA!!

But rather than killing these animals, please focus more killing Sea Shepherd members!!

  • How can I take them seriously when they have ratty pony tails and ratty facial hair? They look like they should be washing car winshields with newspaper.

  • Sea Sheppards are terrorists and should be treated as such.

  • @frelvis77 Whale killers are terrorists!!!

  • There is a SECURITY ZONE around ALL military vessels INCLUDING COAST GUARD. You are lucky you weren't shot, then again, its a Canadian vessel. Try doing that to the USCG, You would probably be boarded and arrested.

  • the sea shepard was in Canadian waters violating the law and not in International waters like they claim

  • die u hippes die!!

  • Clearly deserved it.

  • stupid hippies!!!! go canada

  • Fuckin hippies! I don't go mess with lettuce farmers, so why do you mess with these guys?

Go Canadian coast guard for not letting these hippies mess with the sealers!

  • score one for CANADA, bitches!!

  • Come on Canada, stop slaughtering baby seals. It's inhumane and barbaric. Unless Canada bans this butchering, an international boycott of ALL Canadian sea food will be implemented. SAVE THE BABY SEALS! BOYCOTT CANADIAN SEA FOOD!

  • @socalsir

Um... So SS went to Canada in order to break the law and did so. Canada attempted to get SS to stop breaking the law and go away. Then here you are screaming in caps to punish Canada because they upheld the law in a fairly polite way....

    Kiddo, grow up.

  • I see the opposite in this video...I been going to sea for years and I know a ship has to moving to hit another ship. These Sea Sheppard crew are no more than TERRIOST

  • Agreed. However, their footage is not for OUR consumption - they do no hope to convince RATIONAL people of their self-declared "plight". They hope to convince IRRATIONAL people and to continue to incite people who are already biased to their "cause". Don't get me wrong - I do not support sealing or whaling, but there is a way to fight those practices - legislatively and judicially - not through terrorism and piracy.

  • Sink the Sea Shepherd and all those idiots on board.

  • you are adopted and nobody loves you! why dont you go and kill youself. you are not even worth a shit!

  • What are the Cost Guard do they have to Protect Lives why are they attack Sea Sheperd, Sea Sheperdare the good guys not the Bad.

    Sea Sheperd for EVER !!!!

  • The CGC was trying to enforce a security zone around First Nations people who were in compliance with International Law. The SS tried to penetrate that zone. Of course, they paint themselves as victims of terrorism, just like when their crew boarded the Japanese ship. They are NOT designated national or INTERPOL enforcers; forcible unlawful boarding is piracy; the Japanese detained suspected pirates until they could be turned over to civil authorities. Rule of law, folks - not EnviroNazis.

  • TAKE CARE

Mister paul watson thank you so much

    from france

  • canada deserves to be bombed

  • Nicely done Canada! :)

Very clever editing by the SS propaganda division, they edit out the Coast Guards answer in the end.

However. i think that the beautiful Canadian Coastguard vessel didn't ram them hard enough.

Ever since Columbus invaded North America, the indigenous people and their traditions have been asaulted by the white man. I think that it's good to see the Canadian officials, stopping the Racistic assimilation, and attack on culture by the SS

  • the Canadian Coast Guard just owned the sea shephard. i dont think your gonna damage an ice breaker

  • dude sea sheperd is hitting them

  • GEt Rape wall huggers

  • That is nothing more than two vessels grinding each other. If SS can't even handle such a scratch, I seriously wonder how on earth SS attained her sea-worthiness. How easy for anyone to start throwing some legal wordings to justify their own unruly ways?

Want more maritime law? French flag in Canadian territorial waters, Canadian law applies, not French. Not the laws of maritime terrorists certainly. SS earned a bad reputation for herself through the years, she has nobody to blame.

  • Nicely done CCG. I'm a former CG myself (except not with Canada) and I can share that most countries doesn't fancy Sea Shepherd at all. Even in my own country, we were given specific orders to keep our cuffs handy should the ship sail into our waters. Any social discord, "you" know what to do.

From that sort of (bad) camera angle, hardly proves anything. CCG rammed into SS or SS intentionally crossed the bow of CCG? Wanna talk about maritime law still?

  • the man of sea sheperd was happy to see that some canadian fisherman was dead and he find it funny and ok how can we understand is fight and put credibility on it and is organisation

  • you poor australian the things you dont understand is that 30 years ago the seal where 2000 today they are more than 400 000 and they continue to grow so its not a problem to kill a few of them each year cause in fact they eat all the fish so really i dont understand why the sea sheperd fight us he must go fight the whale killer wich is a bad problem

  • they better ram you fags, go canada!

  • Sea shepherd guys are utterly stupid. They think they have the godgiven right to do whatever they want wherever they go...

i can only say that id want that ship to sink

  • You go looking for trouble and you'll find it . Good job CCG!

  • nice!!

  • The sea shepherd guys should go back to terrorist school and practice a bit more with some rowboats before they get on the big boats, cuz they obviously dont know how to steer their own boat out of the way.

  • 0:52 Bloody axe? lol

  • I love how they go on about "rules of the road". Maybe they should study Maritime rules. For one, they should NEVER be that close... two vessles that close will draw together and hit, it's basic physics. Also, the LEAST maneuverable craft ALWAYS has right of way, no matter what! It looks to me like the Pirate Ship is much smaller than the CCG Cutter. They had Right of Way you idiots.

Freedom of passage does NOT include threatening the lives of people who are trying to make a living on the ice

  • Why the hell was the Sea Shepherd ship that close in the first place? Oh wait... because they purposefully cut off larger ships and disobey laws. They need to be shot on sight!

  • I knew canadian are french colony so they think they can rule the world snobbing laws and make their own

  • Canada is a french colony? As a Canadian that is news to me. What do you mean rule the world and make up their own rules.? I have served in the marine industry for several years and am quite versed in maritime rules of road. The Canadian Coast Guard had full right to be there and in that position. The Sea Shepherd had no legal right to be there. The Sea Shepherd port side rose and stayed risen for a while. This indicates that they infact turned towards the coast guard vessel and rammed it.

  • there u go, someone that (i think) knows their stuff.

  • Well there is no legal basis for the Sea Shepherd being there in the first place. If there is one I would love to hear it

  • .... They rammed an ....sorry attacked an unarmed Canadian Vessel. Perhaps with your Maritime legal background, you can explain whart part of the UN Convention of the Sea legally permits a foriegn vessel to enter Canadian waters and attack unarmed Canadian vessels.? Oh right no such law exist. Waiting for your legal reubutal

  • you don't know anything

  • Canada used to be a french colony then it was taken over by british commonwealth, making our own laws? Yes maxdigitald123456789 in ones countrey and in ones borders that countrey tends to make its own rules and laws. Or did you think the sea sheppard makes the rules?

  • Bunch a fucking left wing dipshits.

  • sea shepard ships are always disobeing the laws and cutting off ships or ramming them, comitting terriorist attacks, and trying to damage propellers.

I noticed you didnt mention the sea shepard didnt obey the legal order to stop by the coast guard!

  • LOL if there was a law to fuck your own mother would you follow that too?

  • "LOL if there was a law"

Luckily you dont make the laws so its not a law and society does.

So tell me, would it be ok for a greenie to murder you because you eat meat or some reason?

  • Listen to that fucking retard whine about the rules of the road. Priceless.

  • americans rednecks, do you know where´s antartica continent on earth´s map ? too bad you ran out of school to drink boose in your teenage, now yo are ignorant people.

go sea sheperd, regards from brazil, canada sux ! little usa copy !

  • Giant coast guard ship O_o

  • I hope the little shitty socalled ship, Sea Shepherd will get rammed very hard next time and sink the the bottom of the ocean..!! The only ones not following international rules are these idiots.. And remember, always keep speed and course when beeing overtaken... Colreg no. 13. The Sea Shepherd did not follow this rule!!

  • "CCG's Des Groseilliers was completely at fault in this deliberate collision." somehow that sound pretty stupid from an organisation who ram into other boat all the time, especially blaming such a professional organisation as the canadian coast guard!

  • Too bad the sea shepherd never sank.

  • "rules of the road" do no apply to law enforcement vessels or vehicles.

Ever see a cop chasing someont by not exceeding the posted speed limit ???

    DUH.

  • canadian coast guard isn't a law enforcement agency, they are a search and rescue and aid to navigation service... rcmp is in charge of all enforcement relating to the coast... and trust me col regs apply to all vessels in the water... half the people boating don't know them but they do still apply.

  • There are RCMP aboard the ship, in order to enforce the law. Also. do you think if the coast gaurd finds a ship carry cocaine into canada, they are going to let it go because its not a law enforcement agency? They are there to protect our maritime laws, our maritime ecosystems, and our EEZ. They are not solely meant to fish people out of the water.

Lets see the Sea Sheppard ships with say, HMCS Halifax on station. I bet Sea Sheppard may have a few issues there.

  • Yes you are correct that there is RCMP on the cutter but however you are wrong in thinking that the ccg does law enforcement. trust me on this. they do not enforce maritime laws, they simply make sure people know about them through something called PCCCs or Pleasure Craft Courtesy Check and other public events. They do protect and keep a watchfull eye over the marine ecosystems. They do maintain aids to navigation. But the do not touch anything to do with the law.

  • @nezzy14 When I worked with CCG our primary mandate was Search and Rescue. We're not the American Coast Guard.

  • Yupp, I know, that's exactly what I'm trying to say because that is the entire purpose of my job (IRB). What did you do with CCG?

  • Cont'd... If a ship was entering Canada with cocaine, CCG would have nothing to do with it. Why? The don't search vessels entering Canada. That is for the CBSA and RCMP. This is because CCG is a non military organisation or public organisation. The U.S. Coast Guard on the other hand is completely military and have the same powers as the their Customs and Border Protection Agency.

  • Well look at what happend to the Farley Mowat

"An RCMP Tactical Squadron from two Canadian Coast Gaurd vessels stormed and seized the anti-sealing vessel Farley Mowat" Thats an excerp from the April 2008 report on the incident.

Remember in 1995 when the Estai (Spain) illegally entered Canadian internal waters, and began fishing, the CCGS Cape Roger pursued, and fired 4 bursts of .50cal at the Estai which was eventually stopped and seized by the RCMP aboard the Cape Roger

    CCG are not hand tied

  • both times... RCMP did the enforcing and CCG only assisted the RCMP by allowing them use of their cutters.

  • Coast guard ships don't have 50 cal guns

  • The CGC DOES enforce Canada's fishery, and marine mammal laws. No, they don't have the interdiction authority of the USCG, but they do have authority over fishing and hunting in Canadian fishing waters (200 miles).

  • Yes that it correct but what i was talking about was that they don't have the authority to enforce the other laws of canada... e.g. customs act, customs and excise act, canadian criminal code. and p.s. its CCG not CGC (just incase you were mistaken.)

  • @nezzy14

    I stand corrected - typo. Thanx. :)

  • Obviously you can see the Farley Mowat going faster than Des Groseilliers, and that's because the Sea Shepherds were speeding up to hit the side of the coastguard boat's bow. Stupid bastards. The CCGS has a lot more power than a shitty old dragger with black paint, and if they wanted, they could have sank the Farley Mowat right there.

  • Extreme activism and a belief in a "greater cause" does not justify illegal actions. Freaking whacko nut job stupid ass activists.

  • I love the hippie crying....reminds me why I'm studying to join the coast guard.

  • According to the 'rules of the road' or in proper terms the Collision Regulations the CCG cutter is at fault. HOWEVER according to the Canadian Fisheries Act, no ship or person is allowed to view the seal hunt from within 900 meters without the proper licensing. Also yes they were in international waters but the Fisheries Act gave them the right to act in this way ...they 'rammed' the ship to stop the hippies and to allow RCMP officers to board the ship and arrest the Capt and Chief officer.

  • "rules of the road" do not apply to law enforcement vessels or vehicles.

  • O and just a side note, im with the US Coast Guard and people like this sea sheppard are normally 100% at fault. Twist the video however you will they are in the wrong.

  • really, so these people have been hunting WAY before these fags were even thought of, and by the way who the hell or how the hell do these idiots get paid?? I understand killing for no reason but good lord find something else to do.

  • If the sea shepherd is going to these extents to prevent the northern canadian population to practice the culture that they have always practiced, Should we not stop the rest of the world from eating chicken, beef, ham, fish, pork, turkey and so on? Unfortunately it's how the world works, never has there been a time on earth when living organisms have not hunted and eaten one an other.

  • Good argument, but probably wouldn't carry much with the SS folks - they'll likely start trying to protect the cattle, pigs, fish, and fowl, too. They're just PETA with a ship, a couple RIBs and a helo.

  • That wasn't an intentional ship ramming ... that was a drunken newfie at the ships helm! Just Kidding!

  • seal clubbing sign me up. does anyone know how I can help them club seals. Is that like something Disney cruises offers?

  • This is hillarious especially pony tail boy quoting to coastgaurd rules for sailing ...........don't want to be rammed stay the hell away ..............news hogs

  • Did anyone happen to see the Sea Sheppard ship ram the Japanese whaling ship? LOL Get some education you people!

  • Comment removed

  • fuck you canadian coast guard! and fuck off all of the stupids ass holes who support that action...

  • poor seals

  • >>seal babies get skinned alive every year

    Are you serious??

    Look at the hunter.

1)Practices his shot next to the animal

2)Then performs the perfect blow for the perfect kill

Definitely not skinned alive. These hunters are pros, at least in this video.

Not to say I like what I see. But the fact remain that seal fur is used in the fur industry which is a legal industry and the hunt is done in a humane way. Pretty sure if someone gets hit like that he dies without feeling anything

  • In retrospect, the animal does seem to move while skinned and the hunter seem to have tried to hit the animal in the first blow and missed. I missed that and only saw the second 2 blows. I must have blinked.

  • Obviously from the camera angle the Icebreaker is on a straight heading and the Sea shepherd veered into it's path. Once the vessels came close the coast guard immediately stopped engines. The Sea Shepherd was obviously at fault and trying to make it look as if the Coast Guard was in the wrong. It's clear on the video. The Sea Shepherd crew will obviously lie for attention. They are environmental terrorists.

  • The Dalai Lama condones the actions of the Sea Shepherd? So what!

The Dalai Lama is nothing but an old fart who does nothing but tell the rest of the world how they should live. No one should give a rats anus about what some arrogant old jackass in a bedsheet has to say about anything.

  • Blody amatures.. the Canadian coastguard should take some lessons in ship manuvering :P very unprofessional of them.

    /Captain hauer.

  • Wow, you've never watched Whale Wars, have you? Sea Shepherd are the ones who need basic lessons in maneuvering at sea. And they were the ones who rammed the Coast Guard here.

  • yeah. It would be better to let the SeaSlugde sail in to those seal hunters.

  • Comment removed

  • These "terrorists" even think they have authority over the Coast Guard, To bad the Sea Sheppard didn't sink...maybe next time.

  • I am Canadian and I think that Canadian Sealers should be stopped ruthless animal killers Canadians talk about animal abuse to dogs and cats and stuff while seal babies get skinned alive every year up there...

  • Comment removed

  • The Sea Shepherd is a terrorist vessel at sea. Any one who thinks this organization is just out to do good has been mis-led by their propaganda.

  • I wish the sea shapards ships would all sink. I cant stand terrorists and that includes ecoterrorists.

  • The rules of the road are always required to be followed, however certain circumstances can be an exception (to authorised ships only!) when the situation requires it. The sea sheppard has a violent history, and is also required to remain a certain distance from the sealing activities, they were already in violation when the Coast Guard took protective measures of the sealers.

  • and the rooles of the road is you don't cut people off and if you are in a van you surely don't cut of a semi stuck

  • the canadian ship is a fuckig ice breacker wih 5 inch pluse hull it can't tern on the dime and the bugger ship has the right away i think and the sea shepard is an X military vesil i think so it is more manoverble

  • Riiiiight, Sea Shepherd is renown for fucking ramming other vessels all the time. They even gloated about it before, show casing things like the "can opener" which they had attached to their boat to damage other ships WHILE THEY RAMMED THEM.

Now they want sympathy for getting lightly tapped by the coast guard? Fuck off you whiney twats.

  • Sea Shepard are a bunch of pirates. The Canadian Coast Guard should have scuttled the ship when they had a chance

  • Actually, Transport Canada boarded the Sea Sherpard not long after this event and found it to be in violation of numerous IMO regulations and therefore impounded the Farley Mowat. It's currently still moored at a government dock in Sydney, NS. I believe the vessel has been seized and is now up for auction, but that's just hearsay.

  • Looking at everything from rope work, ship husbandry, mates conduct, and even when they are on the radio it is evident they are not very well qualified Seafarers. These people would not last a week on the vessels I have served on and yet this second rate Seamanship is the the norn on the Sea Shepherd

  • Sea Shepherd kick ass! Conservation is what the world should be about as it's soon going be in such a bigger mess than it already is.

  • the sea shepherd is the worst thing I have ever seen !!! They claim to help the earth but they are a bunch of useless puppets riding an old shit Diesel boat that pollutes 22 times more than the boats fishermen uses WOW

  • were u pull this from i dont know.

it is the only organisation actually doing something instead of u latte drinking fucks who no nothing and do nothing

they get shit done, results outweigh consequences
