How come they never explained what happened to all the kids after they graduated? I mean, I saw the movie school's out or whatever it was called, but whatever happened to Wheels? Lucy? Snake? All our favorites? All they gave us was a little episode in TNG and that was it.

Little episode? Hardly... Lucy came back a number of times. Wheels reconciled with Snake after all the mess from School's Out in the episode "Should I stay or Should I go", in order to bring closure to the character.

Currently, Snake is the freaking Principal (Plus Stef Brogren is the Exec producer) in TNG and married to Spike (who was last seen at Emma and Spinner's wedding).

I watched all the episodes of Degrassi Jr. High/High and then I went back and rewatched episoded of Next Generation where the original cast members guest starred. It was so cool to see them older. Especially with the first episode of Next Generation, all the story lines at the reunion made so much more sense.

I would mostly agree. What I liked about the original Degrassi is that the producers knew when to call it quits. They didn't bring in a whole new cast to keep Degrassi going. But Next Generation touched more on things like school shootings and sexuality which wasn't as big in the orignal series.

I do think though that the storyline of Kathleen and her abusive boyfriend, Scott was way better than Terri and her abusive boyfriend, Rick.
