Part of the continuing problem is the bank owned properties are still not priced low enough - partly because the banks are not giving mortgages like they used to. Many Americans have damaged credit since 2008. Many buyers now have to buy with cash. The emphasis in this area needs to be on getting these neighborhoods stablized with 'good' residents in the homes. The longer these homes sit empty and deteriorate, the harder it will be to turn this around.
And you only showed the fucking bad parts! Why not the good parts like MY house and my friends houses and the mall and the rock pit and the playground! And pool, and dog park. Huh?! That's right. amen... its pathetic but even though i'm in college.. 2 more dollars.. just 2 more dollars an hour would make my livelihood so much easier right now.. but no ones trying to give me that because of the 'economy' the worst part is I can't complain because there are others who have it worse.. not in my workplace but they are out there and I feel guilty asking but this is just getting ridiculous. People are suffering and it sucks.
