The Raiders had some really great teams and deserve a lot of respect. And I'm a long time Vikings fan. They beat my Vikings in the last Super Bowl the Vikings were in - and that was one of the best Viking teams ever assembled. Lots of Hall of Famers or ought-to-be Hall of Famers on both sides of the ball in that one......

The Raiders, and Al Davis, have been one of the few constants in my life, since I was 5. 47 now, and I feel like I've lost a dear old grandfather, or Uncle. I loved the man thru thick and thin. He WAS the Raiders, and nothing will ever be the same again. Feeling old here. RIP, Mr Al Davis. You were a champion and a renegade.
