This horror film is great for the first 18 minutes; the direction, score, and acting are top rate and thrilling. However, the rest of the film just falls apart.

Man, this movie scared the shit out of me when I watched it as a kid in an empty, dark house.
It's funny, right as I watching this youtube version, I heard a noise outside and had to stop the movie and look out the window to see what it was!

That seemed like the end of the movie. And the kids were already dead when she got there, the officer said that they had been for several hours. Jill just walked into a tragedy that the parents didn't even know about.

Check out the cop at 4:54... that is the all righteous brother Ron O'Neal who played the baddest motherfucker EVER to put on platform shoes, a polyester suit, and cool ass brim (apologies to Max Julien's "Goldie" in The Mack)!
