While he's lying motionless on the floor, after being at minimum unconscious, one of the pigs takes his night-stick and *APPEARS* to jam it full-force, end-on, into the guy's skull.

I can't imagine what he could have been doing if not what it appears.

CBSA are there to handle immigration and other border related issues, YES if something goes on around them then they can arrest just the same. But it was not CBSA's responsibility (nor could they if they wanted to due to the fact they were in a diffrerent part of the airport) to stop Roman.

Providing copy and pasted deffinitions of what Agitated (excited) delirium means seems to show me that you're wrongfully accusing Dziekanski of being intoxicated at the time, which was completely ruled out when an examination was performed on his body. Now if that's not the case as to why you posted this, what exactly is your point? Tasers do not cause death. A study of 500,000 taser deployments half in controlled training and demonstrations and half in the field......and 0 deaths in training and demonstrations....ZERO out of over 250,000 uses. the ones in the field..people had heart problems, most were on alcohol and drugs, or excited delirium which is a mental and physical condition.

now for this video...not eating for awhile and giving up cigarettes does not make a taser deadly..what an idiot

i can't in all good will call "exited delerium" the cause of these deaths. If there is such a disease, than i doubt that it causes the deaths to those people.

And when he stopped breathing, they should have performed cpr on him, instead of just watching him die.

google "excited delirium syndrome cause of death and prevention" by Theresa G Di Maio and Vincint J.M. Di Maio or go to the library and read it or buy it. It tells what it is how it occurs and that cpr doesn't work and even if cpr works the damage is too grat and the person dies in a couple of days anyway.

there are also a couple articles in harvard medical about people coming to the hospital...not in police custody...with EDS due to cocaine use and mental issues and how many of them die in the ER.I know its hard to believe but sometime when someone dies it is because of bad choices they made and its not someone elses fault

I believe that it could exist, but it's the fact that a tazer is a weapon (and when i say weapon, i do mean weapon) that charges electricity into the body, and this includes organs such as the heart. And another part about it is that the police originally stated that it should only be used once, but they now recommend that people use them at least twice to make it easier to apprehend a suspect. And it only takes two shocks to to interfere with the heart beat, and maybe cause cardiac arrest.

But i do believe that exited delirium can cause some of these deaths. But it should not be used as a shield allowing the cops to kill whoever they want and get away with it.

But exited delirium could cause some deaths involving tazers and some in other cases. But the fact that it can just pop up if you are in police custody or such is what makes me wonder if it is a real disorder, or if it is just a way of letting corrupt cops murder anyone they please, including innocent people.

Actually if you look it up there is a harvard health study of "excited delerium" deaths occuring in emergency rooms from cocaine use...with no police involvement at all. Research something before you just parrot anti police groups and the media.

actually Excited Delirium isn't a proven medically, nor sound scientifically. It is often used as terminal event - WHEN IN TASER cases, so basically it's a cop-out for Tasers. The RCMP murdered Robert Dziekanski

probably a pre-existing heart condition and or drug use. don't you find it strange that there have been more taser usages in training and demonstrations han uses in the field with no,,,,thats none,,,,zero,,,,deaths in the training or demos,,,,any deaths occur in the field. If it was the taser and not other factors there would be some deaths in those situations but there isn't. It is a statistical impossibilty that there would be no deaths in training/demos if it was the taser!!

Keep in mind that this man was tazered five times, the tazering cycled for approx 35 seconds, he was then pinned to the floor with pressure put both in the center of his back and to the back of his neck, which pretty much sealed the deal for him. He was not intoxicated and had not consumed drugs as per the examination that was done. This is once again in the court today and for good reason. He was unjustly killed by four RCMP officers who also did NOT provision him with CPR to revive.

Tese "less-than-lethal" weapons are turning-out to be LESS-than-less-than-lethal, especially in the hands of over-zealous or frightened officers.
