i have watched this soooo many times, i am on the mailing list and love to keep up even though i know i cant make it. Harry is one of my favorite artist. he frees me to keep applying and attempt to get it right. thank you so much for sharing.
Every painting is a failure but it just gives you a little ray of hope to ... to try the next one you know? And then you do the next one and you fail and ... but wait a minute, there's something here that gives me hope that maybe the next one is the one.
beautiful expression.....Mark ,the answer...the search....is to connect with our Creator..Jesus Christ....it's inate in us as humans to search for Him....we are hardwired that way.. what a gift He gave you!
Yeah. I understand this LANGUAGE. There is a whole lot of wisdom in this video. Artists are on a never ending search. Harry is right. You know you never get it right. This is why the search goes on. Wonderful video!
Wow. I missed the function at the Lowe Gallery just a couple weeks ago. Had I know you were represented there, I'd have made it a point to make it.
I truly appreciate the way you are in touch with the paint and the image that emerges. I was never into this type of creation before - but watching your process - I get it. I respect it. Thank you for this video.
He paints on wood panel & uses several different things at different times and different combinations of layers of: Behr brand texture paint from Home Depot, dry cement, dry pigment and Georgia clay.

for me,
this sums up
everything:
Every painting is a failure but it just gives you a little ray of hope to ... to try the next one you know? And then you do the next one and you fail and ... but wait a minute, there's something here that gives me hope that maybe the next one is the one.
