You know they might not survive because the temperature is 36 degrees celcius down there in the mine and nobody's been down in a mine for 4 months in 36 degrees.

Why does it take 4 months to drill a hall only 700 meters deep?

@blanket92001 its because its in the middle of the atacam desert. ever tried to dig a super deep hole on th beach? you can't, because the sand keeps goin in. that have to support the hole as they dig, and that takes a long time.

@blanket92001 the hole country was happy cause at that moment it felt awsome to know they were ok, and they are. now its a complicated process but they have the necessary technology to do the job. there aren't many machines in the world from that category so here it is one of them and that one takes like 2 or 3 months

Lucky the miners they can survive I would go insane the first day I mean 33 people stuck in a small place that smells horrible no entertainment just stay there all bored till christmas when I can spend time with family and no showers which makes you stink I would go insane probably kill myself STAY STRONG MINERS STAY STRONG!!!!

hopefully they get into gear and dont waste time debating whether it takes 4 months with what they have now to drill with or spend the extra money and save 33 lives in 25 to 30 days rather than 4 months!...its already been said by engineers that it can be done

an opinion.. please comment: the rescuers should ask "famous people" like Diego Maradona, Pele, Obama, Hugo Chaves, Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, Lula, Santana, Oprah, and other famous people to speak to them on the "phone" in order to support them in this awful unfortunate situation. ALSO: Provide them with games, lots of games. Lots of batteries. THANK YOU. Never mind my english. I did the best!!

Where do they go to the bathroom...500 square feet for 33 men is 15 square feet per person for months...at 90 degrees, it is going to smell so bad and they are going to be sleeping in urine and feces...good luck to them

If they succeed this rescue is going to be epic. 3 to 4 month is ridiculously long time, I don't think it has ever been accomplished...it will test human mental endurance to its limits. They odyssey begins.
