Jonas Kaufmann is the best Werther today! I saw him in Vienna with Sophie Koche also in 2011. He was outstanding!!!!! Many people were crying, within hear Ossian Poem, also in final scene ! It cost a lot! Great dramatic tenor, very powerful, sensentive, expressive-absolutly sublime! Love him so much!

Jonas is absolutely sublime as Werther, one could really feel his agony. Wish he would sing this role at the Met in NYC.
