Someone obviously bribed those students! No one enjoys the Extended Essay when it 2 am the morning it is due and you are nowhere close to 4000 words! The phrase IB therefore I BS also seems to be excluded.... although it's the main thing someone learns during IB!
@achuchu666 Hey, hey! That is absolutely NOT the main thing people learn!
At least not at my school. Here, we learned first that 2,000 word essays are absolutely nothing. I can sit down at my laptop and crank out a decent 1,000 to 1,500 word essay in a couple of hours or less given no distractions.
And all because of that STUPID EE. (And..."Things Fall Apart", "Air", "The Poisonwood Bible", "Love in the Time of Cholera"...eep.)
Anti-American because they support the UN Declaration of Human Rights which means instead of rights flowing from our Creator, rights come from the Govt. Tyranny is what IB supports!
@lynchLIED They come from the Creator. They must be supported by either the government or the people. People are much harder to guide intelligently, so the governments tend to either step up or ruin everything.
Remember who God sent to bail out the Israelites before Jesus came? The judges and the king...both part of the government. Do you know what finally liberated Israel from the Roman Empire? Constantine's decision to split the Empire. Government, in short.
If you want to help program your American child how NOT to be American, then I guess IB is what you want. See 1:12 as he is not lying. If you want your child to live a United Nations point of view, which of course it mostly run now by socialalist and marxist countries, then this is for you. It is also anti-Christian.
Quickly ignorant masses! Mute your volume before its too late! The electromagnetic waves emitted from this video are altered to brainwash you into perceiving IB as a brilliant programme worthy to undertake. Run Run! In truth, IB is a scheme by your government to counter food shortage and over population by increasing teen suicide rates thus reducing economic pressure on the working class and a decline in population. Quickly, hide. They're coming for you....
The IB program is our principal tool for a better a future.
@lifelessperson1993 nice, that's pretty cool. Maybe in Malaysia the IB program is better, but i'm actually from Canada and our IB program is not very fun, in fact it sucks a lot.
@lifelessperson1993 it actually gives a lot of homework, and honestly in TOK, they say it helps explore things more, but the course really just teaches u to make up a bunch of philosophical crap that no one really cares about.
@ultimateu2br Well that's one way to think of it. Perhaps your looking at the TOK too technically/ rigidly. Perhaps your a a technical person. I mean I'm not yet in a position to say but the TOK sounds like you have to delve deeper into your core beliefs, principles and knowledge to understand knowledge itself et c. I'm just saying.
@lifelessperson1993 TOK is not philosophy. TOK is just an introductory pragraph, you do nothing related to real philosophy. Secondly they probably payed those students in order to tell you it'sfine and, considering the video, it might as well be true. Nevertheless believe me, i was looking forward to some philosophical lessons in TOK which wasn't like Maths. I was simply greatly disappointed.
@jayze494 To be honest, I'll advise you to consider carefully your other options first, then decide whether or not to start IB. This is just my advise though so take it with a grain of salt. But honestly IB is "good". You're almost certainly gonna get a big shock as to how overwhelming the course is but you'll manage eventually, sooner rather than later if you're consistent. So think carefully when u choose IB. Consider ALL alternatives 1st then if u're sure about IB jump in and DON'T look back.
@lifelessperson1993 haha yh unfortunately there are no other options ;) I'll start the thing in september and i think I'll be done in may 2013. really hoping for a good diploma, which I will hopefully get by being consistently hard working. hope it goes well! cheers mate!
