  • what kind of rubbish advice is that for testing the parking brake. They dont even advise you to apply your footbrake before testing it in case you are on a slope. Typical BSM rubbish, use an independent instructor.

  • Who actually does this before driving?

  • @MrCubeGuy the seat belt part hope you do lol

  • Is this mirrored? :D jk

  • handbrake looks like a dick.

  • BSM= Bionic Sandwhich Maker

  • BSM = Brick Squad Monopoly

  • driving makes me feel just so good in my body.

  • "That's the controls inside the car covered".... Really? What about the questions relating to....Wipers...Demisters...Headlights and Taillights...Foglights...ABS warning light...Main beam warning light...Head restraint... should I go on? And there is NO question about the hazard warning lights - but you should operate them to check your indicators are working, to save you walking around the car twice! So, all in all, this video is misleading, at best. Joke video from a rip off company.

  • How do you pull over a car without brakes?

Use a handbrake? Gently run it into a fat man? She should have said.

  • @Doomsday2060 jump out and hope for the best hahaha

  • Excellent video!

  • They try to convince us that BSM = British School of Motoring, but in reality BSM = Bring Some Money

  • patronising much..... 'call vehicle recovery' if your brakes don't feel right? **** that, if you know your way around a car and got some kit on you, check them over and see whats what, brake fluid might need topping up, could be anything. get basic knowledge of how your car works and how to fix it, save some money.

  • they are in England the wheel is going to be on the right side

  • Poor left side driving people.... =(

  • it would be nice if the wheel would be in the right seat. =(

  • where can i get some driving lessons on youtube since this is nothing like it :D

  • first, check if your wheel is on the left side! if not, theres sth wrong!

  • @softbreeze941 do u mean the steering wheel

  • after you finish check , please check the car!! :D

  • THE BLACK GUY IS STEALING THE CAR.... SAFELY?

  • I want a car so badly. fuckin insurance.

  • glowing eyes 2:03

  • gary is telling the woman to shut the FUCK UP at 1:18

  • why are there to mirrors?

  • Why doesn't Garry Lamb smile?.. Is he only thinking about the next drink as soon as he gets home.. poor garry lamb, seems as though he has problems ! =[

  • Why is a woman teaching someone how to drive?

    DON'T LISTEN TO HER.

"Keep your high beams on at night. They help you see better. You can use your free hand to chat on your cell phone. The lane on the left goes faster, so feel free to occupy it. Don't be surprised if you see a line of people form behind you because its such a good idea!"

  • do you have to do this every time!? XD

  • does Garry/ Barry Lamb have to be introduced in EVERY SINGLE VIDEO!? XD

  • thats uel lol im going there 2day :D

  • God, I hate RHD cars with indicators on the left. Why most cars come like that in the UK is beyond me.

  • @joey19930303 what do u mean by that

  • @TheDynamicaliiex

Well, it makes more sense to have the indicator on the outside edge of the wheel (all LHD cars as far as I know are like this). That way, you never get in the awkward situation of having to indicate while changing gear (or operating some other control eg the handbrake). Very annoying on roundabouts.

Cars from LHD countries tend to not bother swapping the stalks round as they save costs that way, even though RHD manufacturers swap them for LHD markets.

    Make sense? :-)

  • my instructor was falling asleep dont trust bsm.

  • simple rule on the road is:USE YOUR BRAIN!

  • My friend went with BSM. For the first five lessons the instructor had let him drive in a straight line, as turing was far to advanced after 5+ hours of practise in first gear. So, he stopped going with them and got a regular local driving instructor, on the first lesson he drove round all of the town, with no problem.

    BSM = BULLSHIT.

  • @PIGSYMAGICC Is that true? Or is it just an isolated case? I'm gonna take lessons soon and need to choose who to go with :)

  • I just passed my driving test a few days ago! You can do it! Just relax. Trust me, I am the most nervous person. If I can do it, anyone can!

  • Here I am thinking that this stuff was common sense o_o.

  • who the fuk does this?? idk just sayin

  • @JmillMoreno no need to, modern cars show if a bulb goes out, so how about they tech what InSP1,2,3,4 means!

  • Is this what all woman drivers do?

  • 2:37 lol, he looks happy :D

  • Lol, Cuz we ALL have time to do ALL this before we set off in the morning into the rush hour on the way to work.....

  • in soviet russia, car drives you

  • @jigglyfidda125

    suck my ass

  • Shouldn't the instructor check all this so we don't have to waste time doing it ourselves? ;) Secondly You shouldn't leave you keys in the ignition and get out of your car. If someone gets in the drives away, in most cases it voids your insurance.

  • Is the dude preparing for takeoff or something? It's just a car. Not an airplane.

  • lol when that british lady said "horn", it sounded like she said "p*rn" lololololol

  • Good lesson...I can use that!!

  • thx

  • i need an american driving lessons not this shit !!!1

  • driving cars are fucking cool duudes

  • BSM = Bring Some More (money)

  • @makgirling or....BIGGEST scamming MOTHERF*CKERS

  • @makgirling I did my lessons over 20 years ago with BSM. Expensive at the time, but far better than other driving schools which is why I chose them. Also a first time pass, so they must have been good. The lessons were structured and progress monitored, so I only had 8 lessons.

What I should have done was some motorway work after passing! We never did parallel parking back then, or most of the stuff like the theory test. Any accidents were caused by others, haven't got any points either!

  • Doesn't BSM use fiat 500 now not Vauxhall Astras? Way to cheap out.

  • That Nigga can drive!!

  • Power steering. Testing it in this way everyday will wear out the rack. Dry steering isn't recomended

  • dum.

  • sorry about that previous comment,It was a mix up and I've only had 2 pints. Saying that I've been trying for ages to type this and delete the last comment but it's not happening, lol. I'm not sure who has Chomsky on their profile but well played. dpapaioananow or whatever it is, that's right he is black but you are the only 1 who is surprised that black people can drive.

  • she's the only one who knows if she's embarrassing herself but I'm sure Noam Chomsky would be embarrassed if he knew you had videos of him on your profile, lol

  • Any one noticed his head restraint is in the wrong position, good old BSM :(

  • this guy is a genuine chocolate face...no makeup

  • @dpapaioannow You racist prick!!!

  • @dpapaioannow What? What the hell are you talking about??? Actually don't bother replying as I'm just gona report you.

  • @dpapaioannow So you think calling someone a 'chocolate face' isn't racist??? And yeah, go on and report me. I guarantee you get kicked off first before I do. Just another, stupid, imature you tube idiot, hiding behind your computer making big comments. Idiot!!!

  • @Rebekah270984 fuck off stupid bitch

  • @dpapaioannow Oh that's a brilliant come back, did you learn that in school? Stop replying now, it's over and you're embarrassing yourself.

  • And spoon is a spoon. Worthless video.

  • I would love to learn with BSM but the price I got quoated for 24 hours is equivalent to the price of an intensive course I could get somewhere else! :( and I'm afraid a £2 off offer makes NO difference as I'm a full time student and I am unable to pay £34 per hour of driving..So, BSM if I win a lottery, then I will come and get my licence with you!x

  • get a bus

  • this video is made in docklands inni?

  • Comment removed

  • you steriotypical idiots are ignorant...

  • i'm lucky i didn't get this guy as my examiner, he would have stolen my car

  • @Franky101goes Wow how ignorant, africa or haiti? lol ones a continent the others an island, wtf you thinks its in the DNA or something? your stupid. So thats the only thing you know ay? lol wow you need some lessons

  • after 2 mins and 46 seconds of checking ur car.. YOU CAN DRIVE!@

  • @leox07ftw He left his keys in the ignition whilst the vehicle was unattended. If someone stole it he would not be insured! *NEVER* leave your keys in the car when you get out, for whatever reason, take them with you. BSM should know better than to make such a serious error. As for being an instructor for 20 years, I don't think he is very good for doing this. Time to edit your video BSM!

  • @leox07ftw

looooooool , the funniest comment in you tube , liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiike

  • BOON !!!

  • BSM suck.

  • i like to drive my tractoooor

  • @RossFxx get spelling lessons in aberdeen. this guy has brown skin.

  • Get driving lessons in Manchester for only 14 pounds per hour

    Canpasswillpass

  • Coasting to a stop in neutral is discouraged and will probably cause you to fail the test.

  • I've done it for heavy truck licence and passed, even though it was marked down. The assessor said he didn't want to see me waste $400 bucks coming back and doing the test again.... unlike a car, the booking can take at least 2-3 months if you fail.

  • Yeah but a lot of them can be stringent now, the standards are tightened every year, not that it seems to eliminate bad driving.

Using the lights to "flash" people through in front of you would likely be frowned upon as well. Even though I'd say its safer as its usually a clear signal of your intentions (when used together with stopping).

  • I'd hate to have to go back and re-do my car licence again now... I am a sensible and safe driver and don't fuck it up for everybody else by being stupid behind the wheel.

  • If you press the clutch and brake just to stop then you're disengaging the engine from the wheels therefore the car will coast and you will have no control over it. You break first then select appropriate gear. BBC - Break Before Clutch.

  • Jixalfzx- Stopping a Manual car-

You pushed on your brakes right till its about to stop and then put your clutch down.

Doing this not only uses the engine brake, stops cruisings and stops you from stalling the car.

  • Well, maybe you dont use the clutch to stop in GB or US.

But in (Central-)Europe, you have to press clutch AND brake to stop!

If you dont, the car shakes very strongly and the engine breaks down! :-(

  • Is the instructor called Lam?

    Another question:

Dont you press the clunch + brake to stop??

  • for your second question the answer is yes

  • The answer to his second question is 'NO'. Just ask if you want to know more about car control, standard or advanced.

  • No, you don't use the clutch to stop only the brake. Mnay drivers apply the clutch when braking an it is a dangerous bad habit. When the clutch is down the car is out of gaer and that means you're coasting and have lost control over the cars power. It also means that the car will take longer stop as you are eliminating the engine braking and can even contribute towards brake lock up at higher speeds.

The clutch only goes down to stop the car from stalling at 'very low' speed.

  • arghhh ive got my test next week!!!

  • its better not to learn off a family member or u may pick up bad habits

  • Well this is right over my head... far too complicated for me.

  • i feel your pain

  • can u get anymore basic lol

  • vary usefull for me

  • ye but only had 3 lessons with g/f and had 11 with instructor.

  • hi there, the thing is-you will be making the same mistakes with your gf but she wont be spotting them, where as a qualified instructor knows wha faults to look for. Hope this helps, if you have any other questions, feel free to ask. Iam a grade 6 instructor in the UK

  • my girlfriend gives me driving lessons, i do everything right, wen it comes to do these things with the instructor, just cant do any of it, and ive had 11 lessons by the way..so were wud you say the problem lies, wud luv some info on this ?? thanks

  • umm, i would think the car you learn with your girlfriend is different, happened to me, i learnt in my dads car and when i went with the instructor just made minor mistake cause i wasnt use to the car. This is just a random guess cause it happend to me

  • You must be picking up bad habits from your girlfriend.

  • can anybody tell me if you can do the driving theory test at 16

  • Nope, need to be 17

  • 17 and 9 months ;)

  • I think it depends on what year you were born on. I was born on 1993 and I am allowed to take the test, but I think children born 1994 and up have to wait until 18 years old.

  • 17 I'm afraid.. You need your provisional license and stuff for it aswell.

  • ive had 6 driving lessons and still in industrial estates, is that normal, would like some onfo or am i getting ripped off ???

  • Been Honest, i wouldn't ever use BSM I had one lesson with them and i wouldn't ever use them again. the Customer Service is Appauling, I would tell em to fuck off.

  • yeh i would say your getting ripped off, by my second lesson i was on normal roads, BSM is a proper rip off!

  • You are probably a very slow learner with no natural aptitude.

  • You guys are getting ripped off I was a driving instructor for sears driving school in the US you got 2 hrs for $100 and you drove straight from the house and I drove a truck ...or lorry in your case for 20 yrs so I know what Im doing

  • 2 hours for £60? I pay £17 for an hour.

  • Not bad one.

  • i pay £17 for my driving lesson im onto my 4th lesson, he picks me up at 1pm and lesson last an hour..

he takes me to industrial estate, takes about 15 minutes to get there and 15 minutes back so roughly he is learning me for lets just say near to 35 to 40 mins, so is he a rip off..because a hour driving lesson should be him learning me for the full hour..wud luv some info on this, or think i should change driving school..thanks

  • you should do the 2 week ones, they cost a lot but in the end(not only do you get a license in 2 weeks) they probably work out cheaper

  • no its not because later on when he comes to collect you he wont be driving to the estate you will

  • Why should your instructor spend an hour teaching you to drive, then use another 30 minutes of HIS time and fuel to drive you around?

If you were any good he wouldn't even need to take you to an industrial estate after the first couple of lessons would he?

  • this is a properly 'dickish' thing to say. if you can't be helpful then don't comment. You must be divorced, or very young, immature and cocky to speak like this. Generally sort your life out.

  • Idiot. You must be a paedophile.

  • @CLASSICALJAJ YOu was a learner once.

  • @Slaterking2010 Rubbish ! Yes, I was indeed a learner but my instructor taught me the real world i.e Drive with the flow and keep up with the rest ! This stopped impatient drivers from wreckless overtaking. The instructor also taught me to move to the extreme right when turning right in order to allow drivers to pass on my left and not hold traffic up ! Todays instructors seem to forget that !

  • BSM driving lessons are a RIP-OFF.

  • say that again! £25 per hour and they dont let you take the test till 30 hours.

  • @thetruthuncovered How much isit?

  • @thetruthuncovered they always have been, ever since I went with them some 20+ years ago.

  • This is UEL man! My uni

  • lol thats my uni..

  • im doing my lessons with red they rule! and they use the same car that car rules!!!

  • dude how much ur payin 4 ur lesson an hour coze im thinkin 2 go vth red aswell plz reply:)))))

  • erm 20 an hour which is 4.50 cheaper than bsm. if u based near romford email me

  • i wanted to go with RED as well, too bad they didnt have any instructors in my area so I went with "The AA" for 24 pounds per hour...

  • AA are the way to go tbh, Im doing Automatic Lessons with them, Its abit expensive, But the training and the instructors are top class, Also you get to train in a new 09 Ford Focus, And im getting a discount on AA Breakdown cover.

  • im wid red too, there tooo good. 6 lessons and i can reverse with ease

  • bsm st ands for bring some money. When checking the hand break you need to keep safe control of the car. moron. Put your foot on the break. you did not say that so that would fail. 20 years. lol

  • hiya erm wat happends if ya pass ya theory and not ya hazzerd won and that coul you plz give me infor goz just gerrin started in 17 nearly 18 and wanna no wat im in for ya thankz

  • hi, you would need to pass both the hazard an theory to get a full pass. Passing one aint no gud, believe me i know got another test soon :)

  • ifucking failed again! fuck sake 2nd time lucky my arse, all i say dont do your test in rush hour

  • They might have lost the battle but they are certainly winning the war.

So will it be GSM now..lol

BSM sold by Aviva to German buyer

  • Hello. i have passed the theory test in Dublin now i m looking for a Driving school...could any one know any perfect driving school in Dublin area.thanks

  • Look on the DSA website, i'm sure you can search for one there.

  • fuck that ! who need that she never be a god driver ! i tell you that for sure

  • I passed mine this morning ahhaa x

  • Comment removed

  • BSM = Bring Some Money

  • fuckin too right

  • £27 an hour... they roccommend 42Hours!! Fuk that!

  • they do include a mock practical test aswell as the actual test tho, which most other driving schools don't offer as part of the package. They have an excellent pass rate aswell, so it's definetly worth the money.

  • It's not BSM that recommend 42 hours. That's not right. The DSA (Driving Standards Agency) say a brand new driver will take between 50 & 60 hours to get to test standard.

  • Too expensive considering you can still get great teaching for £6 less per lesson, which obviously adds up over the course of 30+ lessons

  • I have my lesson in half hour. Cant wait. doin all the test routes now so nearly ready to sit the actual test soon, i hope :D

  • i have my first lesson 2moz

i am really looking forward to it

the bit i am most nervous about

is turning the key to start the engine lol

but i wil b fine fingers crossed lol

  • Nice tut

  • Well, today is my 3rd session. The only problem I am having is with the Clutch.

But I heard that's normal and in about another 2-3 sessions I'll get used to it

  • Its hard in the beginning after your used to it its like walking.

  • same here! got my fourth tomoro, the clutch is crap man, hate it! how u getting on with your lessons?

  • well...what do u know, it's not so difficult after all.

Friday's my last session and I have gotten hang of it. I believe I am ready.

    Good luck man...

  • tanks i need it, on my 4th lesson... good luck with urs

  • I have my test on Friday..I'm shitting in myself

  • did u pass then?

  • learning how to drive is quiet hard at first but it will get easier by the time .. my only problem was the car tuning off or going backwards on an uphill
