well the counters themselfs are pretty accurate and they are not free to make or to put in stores. its one of those long term investments. but yeah after awhile paying 9 cents for every dollar is a little steep.

I counted out my coins last night, and I had a little over $40.00 in silver, and a few bucks in pennies...after "processing" it all, my grand total came to $32.87...now, I'm no mathematician, but even at a 8.9% fee, and the $2.00 that came back in the return slot, I think there was just a SLIGHT discrepancy...

just use the "penny arcade" at commerce bank. it counts up all of your change and doesnt keep a single penny. you just take the voucher to the tell and he/she will give you your money.
Coinstars are easy to cheat. Take receipt for like 2$ or whatever. Take home, scan, print out your own receipt with the numbers changed in MS paint or whatever to 80$ or how much you feel you can get away with. Cash that shit in at the store. You do have to make sure you've got the right type of receipt paper though. And I would NEVER do this sort of thing, nooooo way. Educational purposes only ;)

You can just go to a Nevada State bank (if you live in Nevada) they have a machine called coin stop and it has no counting fee for plain cash
and no you don't have to be a member of the bank
