Psylocke is WEAK SAUCE in this series. Also, Emma is portrayed as a protagonist and a love interest for Cyclops. AKA the most cliche character ever. They ruined her anti-heroine "Can she be trusted?" mystery. If they wanted a pretty, loyal, kind, psychic love interest for Scott they could have put pre-Phoenix Jean in there.

@Battlecataclysmic actually, before psylocke was "modified" by the mandarin in the comic books, she was very much like this character, not very confident with her abilities and kind of clumsy. if nicktoons had done the right thing and produced more than season of this show, the evolution of betsy/psylocke would have been a great story line...too bad...

@checkerboardkid That's...kind of not true...her confidence shot way up after joining the X-men.  Sure, she wasn't confident in her physical abilities, but, in terms of telepathy...I mean, she was able to possess Rogue during a training session, knocked Rogue out because Rogue wouldn't let go of her, held her own against Sabretooth (though thankfully the Xmen saved her), even before the Xmen she used telepathy to physically fry an attacker's brain...she was pretty badass.

@Battlecataclysmic Before psylocke was Asian she was JUST a Telepath. The Butterfly effect on her face was the signature effect whenever she used telepathy. However, she was still a pretty badass telepath who would have done better/ lasted longer than THIS. Why they decided to go with Asian Psylocke and have her only use British Psylocke powers? No clue.

Also, the psy-katana probably wouldn't have been included over her psychic knife anyway.
