So your say'n if all those cows, pigs, ect..... lived there would be less gases? Fail. There would be more animals making more gas and eating more grass and plants that remove gases. I don't kill animals or like it when anyone else does, but I don't give bs reasons.
@BeritYentlSchumann Say today we quit killing all animals that were going to slaughter. They are mass produced for that reason. Guess what. You got a shit ton more animals that could survive on their own. That's how there would be more animals.
@orf32 er... if you don't need animals for the meat production you automatically stop with breeding... Therefore: less animals (= less gases, waste of water, grazing land - what you could normally use for forests and other plants which are important for the enviroment, etc.)

+ all those animals are not just going to stop breeding. You going to run in there and keep them apart? If you just turn them all loose they'll just travel in herds and keep on reproducing. If your only concern is Global Warming you would have to kill all animals we use for meat back down to normal numbers. This is where the Vegans can't have their cake and eat it too.
@orf32 why should you turn them all loose? This animals are still domestic animals. They are used to live with humen. And in that case it isn't hard to keep them apart till the number is reduced on a normal level.

Do you think the human race is just going to change? Humans are destructive in nature, Their not going to change anything that makes it harder on them selfs unless forced to. In 250 years the only animals that will be left on the planet will be the ones we raise to eat. It will be just like all those bad Sci-fy movies.
