So, if a library has a poor collection of books, the patron can view many books online through google scholar or get information through google edu search. Even a community college library has access to scholarly databases. Community colleges are typically found in the poorest communites and reach the needest people, which is good. Information is pentiful but intrinsic motivation isn't!
The community colleges in my area allow anyone over the age of 13 to use the library resources without adult supervision. My local state college and university give library cards to citizens (and even high schoolers) who request one. Even some of the private colleges give borrowing privileges to the local community! My point is that blacks have equal access to the educational resources but seldom use them. It'd be a level playing field for blacks and whites if it weren't for AA and white guilt.

So, if a library has a poor collection of books, the patron can view many books online through google scholar or get information through google edu search. Even a community college library has access to scholarly databases. Community colleges are typically found in the poorest communites and reach the needest people, which is good. Information is pentiful but intrinsic motivation isn't!

The community colleges in my area allow anyone over the age of 13 to use the library resources without adult supervision. My local state college and university give library cards to citizens (and even high schoolers) who request one. Even some of the private colleges give borrowing privileges to the local community! My point is that blacks have equal access to the educational resources but seldom use them. It'd be a level playing field for blacks and whites if it weren't for AA and white guilt.
