  • I had an eargasm at the violin part. It's amazing, loooved it.

  • who is the drummer in 2:06? he's cute...

  • I feel like Mairead is holding a magic wand rather than a violin bow o.o

  • what a performance !! a tear come off hhhhhhhhhh

love you celtic woman !! a love the drum boy his amazing !!!

  • They're adorable :) I hope I can see their concert

  • I think I'm in love... :D

  • I never get tired of watching this one. It is amazing, thrilling, and stimulating. Songs From

The Heart has to be my favorite DVD of them all. The lighting, the gowns, and the songs

were all just right. It is truly Song's From The Heart to the Heart.

  • Mairéad (violin) is sensational!

  • Mairead is crazy! How does anybody play a violin while running and bouncing around on high heels without skipping a note!?!? So much talent it's amazing!

  • @Coolcow6 In an interview, Mairead revealed that her violin is actually longer than the standard violin build and she's barely over 5 feet tall. XD

  • @indigothecat...Exactly her violin is a 9/8 size so it is quite large, especially when Mairead is so petite...

  • @Coolcow6..Mairead has a few secrets for playing that way, first is years of practice perfecting her style, second she hold the bow above the frog which gives her more control, and third the way she "tucks" the violin into her neck gives her more control of the violin itself...

  • @Coolcow6 I do think that Mairead is someone so used to dancing in all kinds of shoes while she is playing a violin xD

  • @leireaartemisnoctis google for Adblock and enjoy ;)

  • I am SO SO happy that this traditional music has never been tainted by Mainstream music... (Sorry, i REALLY hate to mention him, but) .. can you imagine if someone like Justin Beiber did an Irish folk song and suddenly millions of people start saying they love this genre of music??? I think it would destroy the magic of it all :\ ... but alas, thank god that shall hopefully never happen!!

  • God damn you all England.........give the last six counties back to Ireland.

  • OMG She's like a fairy! The prettiest dancing fairy I've ever seen, its like she's shining :)

  • Can I honestly say I cried :3

  • not only a great singers, too great acting :D

  • 2:42 LOL HE'S SO SERIOUS!!!

  • O_O!!!!! wow! this is amazing!!!! Mairead is unique!!

  • Love Mr Grumpy at 2:41!

  • I don't appreciate the Justin Beiber ad leading this

  • is Mairead irish word for 'fiddle machine'? well, it should be. this is AMAZING.

  • @facaabc4...Not sure about that, but if you look up Celtic Violin in the dictionary, you will see a picture of Mairead

  • @facaabc4 If you want to be literal about it, it means "pearl". :P

  • i hope celtic woman never stops making albums

  • wow! This song always make me happy!! I'm jumping full of laughs n dance! hahha celtic woman, thank u for give us a chance to believe in beautiful music still exists!!!

  • whoa...if anyone can make playing the violin sexy....she can...O.O

  • the drummer on the left at 2:06 is cuteeee

  • a simply amazing performance by everyone involved! Celtic woman is awesome!

  • I love this version of Mo ghile mear and their dresses!

In the beginning the violin solo sounds a bit like the one from The Sky the Dawn and the Sun.

  • @Roos5991...exactly right there are bits of The Sky, The Dawn, And The Sun...plus Mairead does what she calls the Jimmy Hendrix effect....

  • @gaeilge1O1 Nice. Mairead is great! And Jimi Hendrix is a great guitarist to

  • I like the version in A New Journey better, but I like this on because it's so nice to see them suddenly run out from nowhere and start singing!:D

  • I miss Hayley.... :(

  • You can say all you like, but the day Mairead leaves is the day Celtic Woman is over.I mean good luck finding someone like her to play a violin like that. I dare you!

  • i rearched until the finale so i go to sleep..:D

  • I wish they have a video of the full song with Lynn and Alex singing this. :(

They give so much hope in all of their songs! I absolutely love all of their pieces of music!

  • @BrightestStarlight Actually, there is! Just type in Celtic Woman Mo Ghile Mear Live in the search box and choose the one with the four girls standing in front of a red curtain.

  • 1 dislike is a anglo saxon english person :)

  • @VersaceIRL EH hem I am white...anglo saxon and i LOVE celtic woman.....the one dislike was probably someone who is just mislead......please keep your snide remarks to yourself!

  • Celtic women rocks.

  • Hearing this at the end of one of their live concerts just blows you out of your seat (maybe that is why they get so many standing ovations). This recording simply doesn't do it justice.

  • Gives me goosebumps every time, amazing!

  • Alex always had the biggest smile out of all of them. I miss her):

  • Each time I look at this final, I can swear I'm in a Disney movie, when everyone start to sing and dance around with a magic music and magic voices. Thank you Celtic Woman for proving me that fairy tales could be true.

  • I had the pleasure and honor to see them in concert and they are so amazing!!!! The crowd was encouraged to clap and sing along and dance if they felt like it. Incredible women incredible performers and I was so ecstatic to have been a part of it for even one evening!!!!

  • Chloe is grace, elegance, and downright sexy all rolled into one.

  • I'm not Irish but this song wakes up the sleeping Irishman in me

  • I have never seen anything more stunning!!!! Big fan of Celtic Woman! They are truly ANGELS!!! :D

  • This whole concert brought tears to my eyes...im moved by music anyway, but they just YANK the emotions right out of ya. Then I saw them live...I must have looked like a complete tool lol. I don't care though. They are without a doubt the most incredible musicians the planet has ever seen!

  • dude at 2:42.... NOT happy to be there

  • @RogueCow his wife forced him to go haha i noticed him before too lol

  • Due to overwhelming demand Celtic Woman will perform their beloved Christmas songs in a unique and more traditional symphonic setting. Parting from the majestic tour productions, A Christmas Celebration - The Symphony Tour will organically showcase the pure angelic voices of the Celtic Woman Ladies in a reverent yet dynamic live music experience accompanied by the stirring instruments of a full symphony orchestra.

Mon Sept 19,2011 Birmingham Symphony Hall

Tue Sept 20,2011 London Theatre Royal Drury Lane

  • Love Alex's smile at end!!

  • "What is not in doubt, as anyone familiar with Galicia, Wales, Ireland and Brittany will well know, is the very strong emotional appeal which the idea of sharing a common Celtic heritage has. Perhaps the only real definition of a Celt, now as in the past, is that a Celt is a person who believes him or herself to be Celtic." - Barry Cunliffe <3 <3

  • Does anyone else think that Mairead looks like a fairy when she dances. Also love Lynn's curtsie at the end. So cute. :)

  • @nicagirl12 Got my vote for sure. She is like a little fairy and so beautiful and talented. :)

  • OMG SAW THE LAST NIGHT AND LITTERALY FREAKED OMG CHLOE AGNEW,MAIREAD NESBITT,LISA KELLY,LISA LAMBE ALL OF YOU GIRLS BEATIFUL

  • See and hear our newest member Lisa Lambe...to go celticwomandotcom and click on "Celtic Woman at the Jose Carreras Gala in Leipzig, Germany"

  • Interesting @marianha, I've promised myself violin lessons when I get out of grad school just because of Ms. Nesbitt also! She has been a boon for the music industry, I guarantee!

  • @marianha 12

my story is the same as yours, because of ms. Nesbitt, I've been on violin lessons for 3 months ^^

  • chloe got the biggest appaluse and the other woman i dont know what her name got the same applause

  • She is my sister and become naughty benaughtyman.info

  • I love Mairead! :3 All their singers are incredible too! But since the day I first saw a video of Mairead playing the violin I fell in love with the instrument! I'm now on violin lessons for half an year and she's my inspiration.I always wanted to play an instrument and I thank her for showing me which one I mostly loved! :3

  • @marianha12 Yeah me too! After seeing her play, I wanted to learn too... Right now I'm shopping for violins!

  • @princess0fdeath lol I've played the violin for 9 years and I am still not even close to as good as Mairead Nesbitt. :'(

  • @princess0fdeath I have a few for sale :-)

  • @marianha12 After doing a rediscovery to childhood dreams. One of those amazing dreams is to play the violin. Twenty years old is never too late to learn to play the violin! Thank you Ms. Máiréad Nesbitt for being one of the people in this world that inspire to bring dreams to life =). Hopefully to begin violin lessons before turning twenty-one years old in February. If God says wait a few months then let it be. Amen!

  • @EzrahHarze I believe that you're never too late to learn something at all! Just some are lucky to be taught since they were small. And yes if God says wait then we just need to be patient.I'm 15 and I just know that I'm going to be a professional violinist no matter what! And I hope you too get your dream to come true :3

  • beautiful my friend, very beautiful

  • Does anyone know the name of the song Mairead plays in the intro? She played a bit of it in an interview and she referred to it by a name...but It was hard to pick up what exactly she said.

  • @bonzaiberryblitz..That is from the song "The Sky, The Dawn, and The Moon" you can see it/hear it on the "A New Journey" DVD or CD. It's also here on You Tube.

  • @bonzaiberryblitz ooopppsss...Don't even know our own songs....the correct title is:

"The Sky, The Dawn, and The Sun" not "The Moon"...geeeeeeeeeeez

  • i love their violin player!

  • This song is amazing and it took me a while to find but its worth it :D!!!

  • i love this song and chloe and lisa and mairead they are the best and congrats to their newst member as well

  • this song rulez

  • This finale is a great example of just how a Celtic Woman audience ends the show on such a natural high! And Mo Ghile Mear is such a crowd pleaser. Sends chills up your spine in person. And if you live in Germany, listen to gaelige101. If my memory is correct, he works in the lighting on the show...and THAT is such a HUGE part of the experience! This entire show needs to be experienced by as many in the world as possible! ENJOY!!

  • We're coming to a venue near you...if you live in Germany...check out Celticwoman . com for our summer tour of Germany, 10 cities, 10 nights....

  • Thank you for the correction. A new memeber? Can't wait to hear her. David is nothing short of a genius when it comes to arranging the songs for the ladies. What he has done is unparalleled and unequaled in my opinion. I hope they go on for longer than I can imagine...which is a pretty long time. LOL

  • I just discovered this group this morning and I already love them. Their talents are so awesome, no one is even in the same league as them. And yes Máiréad's playing is mind-boggling. And Chloe is angelic. The first video I saw was of the group in 2007, and I was drawn immediately to Lisa and Chloë. I think it was Lynn that replaced Orla, and Alex replaced Lisa. They are still an awesome group and I look forward to collecting all of their music, including solo releases.

  • @cccrate63.....Ok here's the scoop.....Lisa is still with us. she hasn't gone anywhere, Lynn replaced Meav, and she has since "left" Alex has substituted for various members of the group, and became a full time member replacing Orla, she also has "left" us. So our members are now Lisa Kelly, Chloe Agnew, and of course Mairead Nesbitt. And today our newest member was announced her name is Lisa Lambe.

  • Mairead's a bloody rockstar (:

  • Just for her to be walking and playing that instrument is amazing, but for her to be jumping around and dancing while still playing it perfectly is absolutely mind-boggling.

  • When I saw their concert in Boston last year and this came I almost cried of sheer happiness! Teehee I LOVE Alex's smile when she takes her bow, all of them are so wonderful!

  • I actually got chills- that is just amazing.

  • 1 person obviously doesn't like music and probably lives in a cave.

  • @mattxr2i caves can be nice some times...

  • I love how they just have fun performing on stage. They sing their hearts out, one question don't hate me for this but after singing that many songs don't they get a soar throat? I mean I'm a singer too but after I sing lots of songs I lose my voice for about 4 days so I'm just wondering! Please don't hate me!

  • @annagirl10 Hi, fair enough question no one should hate you for it. Just wondering are you giving your vocals enough warm up before singing? I sing too and there should be no reason really with the proper training and especially warming up etc to protect yourself from going sore all the time. :) Would love to hear you sing.

  • @annagirl10 Oh you little sh**! Oh I F***ing hate you!!!! J/K lol. How long have you been singing? You have to think that this is pretty much all they do. Just like any exercise, the more you do it, the better you become and the more endurance you build up. I'm sure the girls are more than ready for a good night's sleep after a show though :-) So my advice to you would be keep practicing and like terrastrega (Italian for Earth Witch.. interesting name lol) said, get a good warm up too!

  • @mattxr2i Well I started singing two years ago I'm still new to everything, I can't imagine singing all day lol. Thank you for your advice it would really help me my voice teacher only gives my voice a 10 minute warm up.

  • @annagirl10 I'm a violinist myself and I will need DAYS upon days of practice to even think of keeping up with Mairead! And I doubt I will ever be able to move like her while playing. (Which would be odd anyway considering I'm a guy) But I wish you good luck and I hope you do well as a singer. :-)

  • I love how absolutely ecstatic Alex always looks. You can just see the joy pouring out of her in all the songs she sings. And Lisa looks so sweet, she seems like she'd be just the nicest lady to know. Her smiles are so sweet. I love how Chloe sings and gestures in this. It's like sometimes the joy of pouring out your heart and your voice is almost to much to bear and you'll explode. I know exactly how that is. And Lynn seems so happy to be there, I bet she'll get more confident as time goes on.

  • According to reviews of their concerts, this finale has been extended and rocks even more! When it comes to Celtic Woman is the best not even the best.. they always get better.

  • @TheGeantrai Actually, they do this, then come back on for Spanish Lady. I'm so glad they did it; they didn't on the 2008 US tour (I'm in Australia now).

  • fuck John Kasich! and all of the other political advertisments!

  • I have seen both versions of this song live! IT IS AMAZING!!!

  • Goodness - the whole groupd is amazing!!!

  • These Girls are awesome but i feel not enough credit is given to the drummers, they play with so much energy and vibrance, whether they get it from the girls or vice versa its just spectacular no matter how many times you watch it!

  • Celtic Woman is doing a new album titled "Lullaby" it will be available through your Public Television Station beginning November 27th. I have heard it will be a thank you gift for a donation to PBS...

  • How come they didn't do the full version of the Finale? Usually after all the girls are onstage, they would do a part of the chorus and bow together, then do the whole chrous side to side arms thing

  • Comment removed

  • @mattycakes117...This video is only part of the finale....The finale at this performance started with their signature song "You Raise Me Up" the girls then went offstage and the orchestra and Mairead started what you see in this particular video.

  • i like how lisa bows instead of doing a curtsey. lol. but i love this version as well as the one with meav, orla, and hayley. this is just different but still good.

  • If you have the chance, go see them in concert. They are amazing.

  • this one is very welldone too..many tks...to safaryrosa and celtic woman for the second time..gi.

  • ☆☆☆☆☆☆ I ♥ it ☆☆☆☆☆☆

Have a nice day , Inexx

  • Excellent!Awesome!

    Warm hugs!)

    All the stars))

  • This is one of my very favorite shows. Thank you sweet girl. Love Barbara

  • When they played in Lexington, they did both versions of this song! It was AWESOME! And it was so cute when Mairead spoke to the crowd because she actually spoke into the mike on her violin :-)

  • the version by lisa, meav, orla, chloe, hayley and mairead was better...

  • i got serious chills listening to this. so enchanting!!!!!!!!!!

  • CW choreography is really brilliant !

  • When I go out to accept my Nobel Peace Prize, I want Mairead to introduce me - just like that!

  • This is why I live...to see these concerts!

  • Mairead always does tat, and the ladies faces weren't tired at all, they luv what they do

  • We only have 14 shows in 11 cities to go in North America....then a little time off with our friends and families at home - then off to Australia!

  • @gaeilge101 Is this your first time to Australia Gaeilge? Watch out for those kangaroos, they are mean!

  • @IntoTheMystical... I have been to Australia before..Perth to be exact...

  • I am so in love with Chloe!!

  • wow, Chloe. Could you be any more freaking gorgeous. Seriously. What the hell.

  • seriously....they need to be known everywhere cos the music is awesome. Been listening since first album.

  • tout simplement superbe

  • the best entrance was chloe's 2:28

  • @alrickgreen I agree....she has such an innocent sensuality about her.....she's beautiful, talented, awesome in every way.

  • Last night's audience in Montreal was unbelievable! Today is our first day off in awhile so we are enjoying our time in London - Ontario! Only 2 more shows in Canada until we dip back down into the US! (Although we'll be back in Canada in August...)

  • @gaeilge101 You're sweet, that's all.

  • i love how Chloe floats in and curtsies gracefully like a princess! ^_^ I love these girls.

  • After an incredible journey to Australia we are packing our bags and heading to Canada this week for rehearsals and to kick off the summer leg of our Songs from the Heart summer tour!!!

  • That's how I would play violin, if I played it. Like a friggin' rock star, man.

She's amazing. The whole thing is amazing.

  • Mairead calls that rock sound her "HENDRIX" sounds. And I have never heard another violinist even TRY that!!

  • ok, that one gave me cold chills :)

  • I love Alex's face during the finale

  • She's a pixie

  • Chloe Agnew got the biggest applause! YOU ARE THE BEST CHLOE!!!!

  • @zinpgh That's because no matter how good everyone else is, people just fall in love with Chloe....She always gets the most applause....go figure...

  • @gaeilge101 Isn't she also the youngest in the group? I think she's 19 or 20. My favorite is always Mairead. I love how she dances around with her fiddle. An adorable lil' sprite :-)

  • @mattxr2i If you talking about Chloe, Yes she is the youngest she celebrated her 21st birthday this year. As for Mairead, you are right,. In interviews Mairead says she just can't stand still and play, she has to move with the music. What's really amazing is that she does it night after night, over 300 performances and going strong...

  • @gaeilge101 Oh trust me I know. I've pretty much seen everything there is on youtube about Mairead. I'm a violinist myself and I can play most of the songs she plays. But if I tried to dance areound like she does when she plays I would probably hurt myself or break something. Maybe both XD. I'm going to see them in August in Lexington yay!!

  • @mattxr2i Well I guess we'll see you in Lexington then....Mairead hasn't escaped hurting herself though....In Tempe, AZ at the Gammage Auditorium she took a fall and twisted her ankle, she jokingly refers to it as the"Damage in Gammage" and most recently she fell in Chicago but wasn't injured that time. And her baby (violin) wasn't hurt either time...

  • @gaeilge101 well let her know that her fans are wishing the best for her or atleast i am

  • What type og guitar is that @ 0:14

  • @pogo506 It's not a guitar it's a Cittern.

  • Would really love to see Celtic woman again here in Calgary AB, Canada! That was an amazing concert ...just beautiful! =)

  • des déesses, ni plus, ni moins

  • Well have a great tour anyway ..hopefully next year..I certainly agree that u deserve some rest..as I indicated bfor I'm tired for u..hehehe..so on that note I'll get plenty of sleep and rest for u..take care..Von p.s love those diary videos

  • Who sings the gorgeous harmony at 2:34 and 2:39? Is it Lisa?

  • @libbylou44 Yes that is Lisa

  • We are taking the month of June off to go home for awhile. Then we will be back starting July 12 for 47 more shows, the first 8 shows will be in Canada then back to the U.S. We'll be visiting some new venues and some of our favorites ending up in Morrison CO at Red Rocks on Sep 12

  • @gaeilge101 dont know how u do it..those girls put out a whole lot of energy.and alot of hard work (to me)47 more shows? ur making me real tired just thinking about it...phew..any chance of coming back to Atlanta?? Love u all..hope to see u all when u get back here to Atlanta..Have a great rest of the tour..
