Some Phones cant support the "Square wave".

Also only work with MIDI downlaod the gbc game and then try if it MIDI or MP3

@RyanRadiculous The sound depends on your phone. Some phones might not emulate the sound at all. It's also something that is disabled by default, so make sure you enabled it in the menu.

@karadanianoI I don't think anybody's arguing that this is the best way to play gameboy games. In fact it's not an incredibly good way at all. But sometimes your cell phone is all you have on you and sometimes you need to kill some time.

@dylanmartino14 It depends on your phone. Leaving sound disabled helps, otherwise I haven't really tampered with the settings so I can't really help you make it run faster. You might just want to play around with the settings and see.

@greekwwefan I have a C510a now too. If I'm not mistaken what you need to do is (been a while since I messed with this):

1) Press the center button on your phone to bring up the pause menu

2) Press the left button for Options

3) Select suspend

I don't think it allows you to continue without manually suspending it.

For those of you who do not have sound Download, meboy 2.2 as some meboys do not have the sound function and then go into setting and enable it ^_^

Gbcolor games are harder to run than bw games thus it slows and lags usually during animation like battle scenes.

i tried upping frame rate, meboy 1.6 ver(mines not capable of 2.0 or above :/ ) try a diffrent phone or a symbian 1, for xmas im treating myself 2 a blackberry! Lucky tosser that i am (

The program's capabilities depend entirely on your phone. What works on my phone might not on yours. If the sound works so poorly your only real choice is to turn it off.

On the site I don't see anyone listing sound as a probelm for the K810, however since sound is in an early alpha stage in this program it's probably just best to assume going in that it won't work. I have a C510a now, and plan to make a new video soon to see how much of a difference it makes, so check back!

your probly have an older version of meboy on 2.2 u have sounds and a much larger choice of memory bank

you know, if you want your gameboy color games to run faster, you can turn off the gameboy color option, and this game will run in black and white. hope it helps someone :)

I can't recall now because I don't have my java phone right now but in version 1.6 it was in the options, and you just had to scroll down a little bit and it was right there. In 2.0 I dont see why it wouldn't be there though

The music in this emulator is still in the testing stage. It could be your particular phone, or it could just be the program itself.

Make sure you have turned the sound on in the settings, as it's not on by default.

I've not had any freezing in any games, but I also don't use this program for long periods of times so maybe that's why I haven't encountered it.

Try turning the sound off in the options, a lot of times the games will run a lot better if it's not trying to load the sounds.

The only help I can give you and 5N0k3 is to check the official MeBoy site I linked to in the video description. It's still in a pretty tentative state, so there's a good chance that you both may not be doing anything wrong at all.  The site has a few guides as well as phone and game compatibility lists.
