The death of this music giant and Pepe kalle touched every corner of the African continent..what a big loss..Thank you for everything may God be on yor side in eternal peace!! RIP..
I'm sure Franco+Madilu are having fun once again wherever they are, could be they formed another band with Pepe Kale, Didos Longwa & others. These were great entertainers by the way. African's will never forget those old good days anyway.
Yes! This is African music. We discovered music in East Africa as we discovered time keeping in North Africa! We are the world of music and "sololous" voices. Adieu Madilu. But who is replacing this Man? Please let us know my dear Idamawatu!!!!!
RIP Madilu. We are going to miss you so much. I was in the Congo when you died. I was so sad. I hope you are together again with Le Grand Maitre Franco.
This is Calvince from Afghanistan, Madilu (R.I.P) has done soothing staff, with his songs stress is gone, hangovers defeated and in fact, the songs are so magnetic that it is impossible to move away from. Cudos to Congolese musicians like the late Madilu and Franco. Oooooh! Ya Jean and Veux Sammy!
I speak several african laungages but lingala is sweet like swahili mainly on the coastal mombasa, dar es salaam ,zanzibar. lingala and kiswahili kia wazalamu is so sweet
we miss you Madilu Makiese (RIP), though you are still with us in spirit and on record, as I listen to ya jean, I thank Nzambi Mungu that you were allowed to bless us with your angelic voice and warm presence, what can be more calming then your voice Madilu over the Rumba guitar lines of Congolese music...Your Fan, Mavinga
@kenyagirl2009 this song ya jean. it is a name of person . he said that i can break up with ya jean even though they go to the court, he will tell the judge he can not break up. Ya jean in this song wants to break up without any reason. I did do anything wrong but he woke and told me to break up. its a little bite the message of this song.
J'ai decouvert ce grand Mr 31/12/2008 dans une soirée et je suis tombée amoureuse de ces chansons si quelqu'un pouvait me dire où je peux trouver ces CD je lui serai reconnaissante! PAIX A TON AME MADILU!
mais ngaie moyen na boya yo eya te ...ata toke na tribunal nako yebisa obe judge wana moyen na boya yo eye te. aah i can never get enough of this song!
Madilu is singing about a woman was left by her man becuase he had a dream that she , the woman had an other man beside him... so thi is a singing voice of a woman pleading her man not to live her cause it was just a dream.. but the man decide to go, so the woman is sad,
What a voice! I never tire of hearing this song, one of HIS best ever. I Love it when he laughs and sings that long note. Thank U God for blessing us with Madilu. People all over the planet, that love real music, love Madilu, RIP
yeh, I know what you mean about the long note. Also I love the way the guitarist runs riot immediately after. A bit like the keyboard solo in Light My Fire.
This is the best song that Madilu has ever recorded in my opinion. It reminds of many evenings I used to spend in bars enjoying legendary african barbecues. Madilu you will be missed all over Africa and it is a shame that we have lost a man as good as this one. Madilu May Your Soul Rest In Peace wherever you 've gone. You have given me pleasure through your music over the years and you will remain a legend forever. Rest In Peace.
