  • I like how he had a career before drugs got to him ... and then his Career took off with Good Morning, Vietnam, Aladdin, and an Oscar all while sobered up. Great triumph!

  • i dig the einstein part lol

  • I doubt he has ADHD since those ppl have a hard time focus/concentrating.

Robin Williams on the other hand manage to like 3,4,5 things at once and doing it to perfection.

  • @Quickis People with ADHD are very intelligent and can actually manage to do multiple things at one time, once they learn to organize their thinking. He is hyperactive and has taken advantage of that to the fullest extent.

  • @ruadhrose Thats weird since ADHD is a stamp used by psychiatrists. Motivated throgh having few of a group of symptoms (as most so called "psychological sicknesses"). If the symptom's are removed then we no longer have a stamp. The man is cured and not only has he gone from weak to normal. According to your theory the weakness has been a link to a rare strength.

The theory is hard for me to accept. Its not logical and should've be seen elsewhere on other people struggling without the diagnose.

  • oldsreo you forgot about george carlin ;/

But still, they are both amazing xD

  • 2:06

  • This has got to be the best, most original ITAS interview of all time.

  • я должен говорит по- русски ))))))))))

  • I want to see him at Epidaurus.

  • I hate to say it but I think he was funnier when he did do drugs

  • It's great that he can talk (and also make jokes and laugh) about his drug addiction,,

  • @Vinceeboyy its theraphy for him.

I think he has a hard time taking his problems seriously. A man with that much energy and is so impulsive could probably take terrible decisions while depressed.

  • popeye was a crap fil but Robin made it funny and was rather cute in it especially with the short blonde hair

  • who could possibly dislike this... soulless boneheads

  • They dropped the bong.......lol

  • wowo it sounded really like german .And I am so i should know .....KATZENFUTTER

  • we are on part 5 and we have only got to his first movie. ha

  • Get the woman out of the fucking studio.

  • Whoa Whoa! Whoa! Robin! Have a little coke and calm down for god's sake!

  • This guy has to be scary good in bed...

  • dude, that girl in the front. is she still alive? lol. she was laughing he ass off! i got as much entertainment from her as watching Robbin. haha

  • I feel sorry for him. So much of his older comedy he can't remember because of the 'mistakes he made. That's gotta frustrate him. I know it would bug me.

  • @boredpersonthingy You don't sound terribly bright.

  • His story about getting off drugs is so true....

  • <3 <3 <3 I love him xD

  • Imagine getting high with Robin Williams and Dave Chappelle haha

  • @CapitalBhoy78 robin williams should be dave's friend chip haha

  • gotta love him shouting in german lol...

  • @fennaru It was Russian!

  • @trufflesrheaven sounded german x.x i couldn't tell but i guess that makes sense seeing as he learned russian lol

  • @trufflesrheaven It's German, the whole point of the joke is a German (Nazi like) accent in a German car (Mercedes- a German manufacturer of automobiles........). Plus I know Russian, and it wasn't Russian :-) (He says something in Russian earlier in the vid.)

  • The phrase he stated with the atomic bong was sooo hysterical haha. This man has extremely unique spontaneity & improv.

  • What's the mental condition he has called?

  • @deadpandadolls I believe it is ADHD

  • No one is better than Robin Williams

  • @WarriorMigs24 I love Robin but Jonathon Winters was Robin's hero. Jonathon was the master.

  • He should just be able to be a bit more serious about this topic.

  • The woman at 1:53 looks like someone I know!!!!

  • Waaaaaaaaaaaaaait. Robin Williams was an addict????? I had no idea.

  • @ritsfata Really? OKay, and incase you can't tell, the White House is White.

  • @ritsfata WAS..is the operative word..Not anymore..Hasn't been for yrs..and he still can kill an audience with laughter!

  • @trufflesrheaven Agreed.

  • Sorry, Jim Carrey can;t hold a candle to RW.

  • I respect Robin for overcoming it, but he needs to drop the obnoxious "funny man" persona during a serious interview, especially when it is about a serious topic.

Jim Carrey does that shit too. Its ridiculous, tone it down for a while. Plus Robin is a GREAT SERIOUS actor, why cant he tone down the funny man shit for something like this? I would have wanted to kick him off my stage if it was me, or ATLEAST tell him to be serious. I couldnt tolerate all that "comedic" stuff.

    Good for you Robin!

  • @Polaris382 Asking Robin to be serious during an interview is like asking a turret to stop shooting people. They can't do it.

  • robin is not a happy man

A lot of comedians are not happy

That s why they want to be funny

  • 2:00 everyone's dancing and hungry! lol

  • it is impossible for robin to stay totally serious in an interview.... dont ever expect it

  • "Everytime you create something you get a little endorfine buzz. Why do you think Einstein looked like that?"

  • No one can interview this guy he just turns everything into a stand up...Amazing

  • RIP John Belushi

  • I want an atomic bong

  • When you watch a lot of Robins interviews and stand ups here on youtube you can hear some of the same jokes several times. Like the joke about GPS... But Robin is a guy who can alway make an old joke in a new and uniqe way and that's what makes great comedians...

  • @fear416 He uses old material in all of his interviews. And as you said, he invents new uses for it. Most of his stuff is pure improv however.

  • Who's belushi?

  • @horsieb19 You are kidding, right??

  • @horsieb19

John Belushi from the Blues Brothers.

  • "Man of the century, f*** it, the Millennium!" Robin Williams is the man of the Millennium. : )

  • That would be a cool weapon.I think that's a good idea, the Atomic Bong.Think about it.That actually can be a deadly weapon. It would make them defenseless. It would cripple them physically.Which allows a more aggressive country to come in and take control and make it easier for them to do so.Like a stun grenade, except this flash lasts for hours and they forget what they were doing. Not to mention they are easily caught off guard because they are looking for food or asleep.Chemical Stun Gun!

  • Robin Williams is the most real actor in Hollywood....."you know this is some dynamite weed".....classic :D

  • how could anyone dislike this?

  • The asian at 1:53 is now my hero.

  • Could somebody strangle that woman whose laugh is incredibly annoying?

  • @Marcnorthern I think she there with someone. God,can you imagine. After the first 12 minutes, someone should have secretly injected her with a light sedative.

  • how can this interviewer be as controled in his emotions as this?

  • @ 1:55,..wanna marry her!!

  • That's utter bullshit, Carlin and Williams are both comic geniuses, but they just practice very different forms of comedy. Robin is physical, improvisational, by the minute, and Carlin is cerebral and observational, cynical.

  • We all miss Belushi he was the best

  • TOO FUNNY! everytime i watch "LOOK AT THE CAR,LOOK AT THE CAR, LOOK AT THE CAR!" I always burst into laughing, cheers me up

  • i hate when people say someone like carlin or farly are comedy geniuses. this is what real comedy genius looks like.

  • @zackhanscom hey, you can love carlin and still laugh at williams.

  • HEY DADDY LOVES YOU WHERES THE BABY! LOL

  • There was a grand jury about Belushi's death. If you remember it was more than a little unusual. There were many questions about how he died and the involvement of the woman he was with at the time of his death.

  • whats belushi have to do with grand jury?

  • best line "why do you think Einstein looked like that?"

  • if anyone knows the loud bitch with the ' loud screeching cackle' i will pay for her headstone

  • Atomic Bong...brilliant!

  • He is the only comedian I know of that came off drugs and still has the same energy and humor.

I can watch this over and over.

  • @oldsreo the same? he has even more!

  • @oldsreo its like he has a permanent supplie

  • @oldsreo i love him to you should watch russell brand he took a shit load of drugs and is now clean and got lots of energy. plus verry funny.

  • @oldsreo Bill Hicks too

  • @oldsreo u forgot about George Carlin one of the funniest guys ever

  • @Oldschoolwweawesome Very true. I did. Thanks for the reminder. I still listen to Cralin alot.

  • Yeah carrey and williams in the same flick. I think it would get subtley competitive.

  • "so it's nice to have method russian and a nice lunch" love Robin and one of my favorite comedic actors of all time

  • its the speed his brain works at though its amzazing to watch.when you watch other stand up its a long set op to a joke then a laugh with him its constant laugh and if your lucky you will get to the point of that silent laugh that now days seem to be a rareity

  • I'm sorry to say I don't think many would agree with you. I know what you mean. His stand-up comedy isn't jokes or stories. Its insanity. And I'm not always in the mood for it, but that rapid, manic style is what makes robin williams one of the most unique comedians of all time.

    Always pushing the limits.

    PS youtube dimitri martin

  • "DROP THE BOMB !!!"

    BRRRRRRRRGGGGGHHHHHHHH !!!!!!!

So true, they were kids playing with their new toy.

And they didn't get bored of it !!!

They wanted to drop it over 7 citys.

Someone ended the fun after Nagasaki...

Einstein got his famous "electrified hair" looks when he realized what practical uses had his Relativity Theory.

  • its all relative man!

  • Robin Williams is a gift to make us all laugh.

  • "A grand jury really helped too."

Robin Williams (along with Robert DeNiro) stopped by John Belushi's bungalow the night Belushi died. I didn't know he testified before a grand jury about it. I wonder if DeNiro was called and if he and Williams took the 5th.

  • I loved Popeye. Brilliantly cast. :)

  • Nazi GPS.. that's fucking hilarious.

  • Popeye may very well suck, but I enjoy it for two reasons:

    1 - Harry Nilsson's excellent songs.

2 - The complexity of set design and mise-en-scene (all of the minor characters who make up the backgrounds of every scene) which make the film intriguing, even if the story and humor is not great.

  • I've seen that comment on 3 videos now.

You must have a lot of time on your hands.

  • Lol. Like that comment.

  • I love Moscow on the Hudson. I watch it a couple times a year.

  • I had a Mork from Ork T shirt when I was 4...and I had the pin he wore on his suspenders.

I also had a huge crush on Mirth, his kid that was played by Jonathon winters.

  • Moscow On The Hudson, a great film, he deserved an Oscar for that

  • 3:48 - its flea from rhcp. lol

  • Lol, atomic bong

    That's great.

  • At about 2:49 I thought i heard a very fast barfing sound, hahaha.. then i saw him just pouring himself some water! hah.

  • Robin Williams is basically the best at coming up w/ funny shit off the top of his head. I believe they call it improv~

  • Take a right.......... NOW!

  • Well, I think it was a man, according to IMDB. Maybe I'm wrong. But that lady looks like she was having a good time.

  • i wanna see jim carrey and robin williams together in a movie... would kill people with laughter O.o

  • to kalenen

thats why they will never do it. everybody would be dead & they would be out of work. I think they should still do it though.

  • @kalenen

    With the right script, Agreed.

  • @kalenen jim carrey and robin williams WOULD HAVE killed together in a movie (in 1995). unfortunately they're old now, and while supremely talented (especially robin williams), they aren't that funny anymore. look at their recent movies, and by recent I mean "the last 10 years entirely"

  • @dweebieMC What about RV? I know it's not Robin's best work, but he still killed me with laughter.

  • @dweebieMC Robin Williams has been cast against type in a lot of 'fairly' recent films and put in some incredible performances, One Hour Photo and Insomnia spring to mind and Carrey was captivatingly understated in Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, but I do agree that their funny films have been few and far between.

  • @kalenen God, how expensive would such a film be...

  • @kalenen Totally...they are both great!

  • @kalenen they will defuse each other. no fun.

  • @kalenen I've said that forever!

  • @kalenen that's probably why...it would be a safety hazard.

  • @kalenen thats what iv been saying all along:) i like jim carrey more but it astonishes me how they havent made a movie together

the two greatest improvisers and body comedians of all time

  • @sudeti Don't get me wrong, I love Jim Carrey, but no one can match Williams' energy. He is a force of nature all on his own.

  • @kalenen

    that would be EPIC :D

  • @kalenen If Jim and Robin were in a movie together, I don't know if there's a script good enough to contain those two comedic giants simultaneously for less than 4 hours.

  • @kalenen or maybe they'd cancel each other out and become mute

  • @kalenen

I wanna see them together in stand up! THAT would kill!

  • LOOK AT THE CAR!!!!! My favorite Inside episode!!!!!

According to what Lipton said on a recap episode on Robin, somebody had a hernia from laughing so hard. They had to call a paramedic.

  • the fat woman they should near the beginning

  • wrong... it was a gentleman in the back of the room I saw the DVD of this episode... it had a LOT more funny moments

  • i was joking..and i meant showed..she was laughing in the most absolutely annoying manner..i bet people around her were pissed

  • they might have been but dangit Robin IS that funny! lol

  • I wouldn't be surprised if it were that girl in front row who laughed out loud the whole time :)

  • That is my GPS!!! so evil and annoying!

  • LMAO take... a right! why... are you not taking a right!

  • Does anybody know what he's saying in Russian? Thank you! C:

  • To be honest he pronounces some words quite poorly at 4:33. The only thing I understood was "govorju po-russki" - "I speak russian".

At 4:58 it's a little bit better:) he says "nemnozko kuricy nemnozko Stanislavski" - "a little bit of chicken, a little bit of Stanislavski". The las word I didn't understand:)

  • Ahhh, okay! Thank you very much!

  • Stanislavski was a russian actor trainer

  • 4:22....Russia! fuck the politics! Russia be a happenin place!

  • if i hear that woman laugh on more time, im going to rip her vocal chords out and shove them up her ass

  • Robin and Bobby De Nero visted John Belushi the night he died...

  • Nah...that woman needs a paper bag to

    breathe into.

  • wow... that woman needs a gag man

  • "man of the century? f**k it, 'the millennium!!!"

  • The smoke clears and everybody's dancing and hungry! :)

  • Yes!!!

That's what the world needs...not a Hydrogen Bomb.....AN ATOMIC BONG...!!!

    I love it!

  • hahaha nazi car

  • at beginning it was funny how they where having a serious conversation about robins drug problems and how quickly it became funny

    he is the best

  • i love how he used material from his stand up shows

  • at 1:54 that old woman in green her smile scares the hell outta me

  • Omg me to thats scary shit i darent look at if for long if you pause it -that's proper weird how you spot that shes not human fuck me thats creepy looks like something out of a horror movie

  • She looks kinda like Spock.

  • Lmao

  • God that woman howling every second got irritating.

  • Think about the people sitting next to her

  • he will always be the best of the best, i dont think anyone will ever come close to his work

  • I think Robin is very well spoken.

  • no one else on this earth is as awesome and entertaining as this guy, true, human, brilliance,

  • true but the insane jokes has to make sense..

lol that guy is too funny!!!

  • I hope he's much better now that his heart operation was successful..I can't wait for more from him..

  • we wish him all the best, i think he's done enough, i just want to see him healthy

  • are kiddin? george carlin had 2-3 heart attacks in his career, and he still kept doin what he had to do until his heart just gave in, what makes you think robin's gonna quit?

  • belushi was a legend HUGS NOT DRUGS!!! god i love this skit it always gives me a kick but it also sends a message!!!

  • What is that shit!! Oh, it's yours!! hahaha...

  • He was at the Chateau Marmont the night Belushi died.

  • Look at the car look at the car look at the car

  • angy german gps is best

  • His mind moves so quickly. You can almost see it after you watch him a while.

  • he's insane

  • Hes legally insane :)

  • being insane is apparently fun though

  • Lmfao, the einstein joke was brilliant! xD

  • just heard it and thought the same :D
