I'm supposed to be working and I've watched this video 5X now. I even read an article on the Dap Kings on the HARP magazine website. Tragically, I live in Atlanta so I will have to travel to see Ms. Sharon. On a positive note, Mr. Walker and the Dynamites are up the river in Nashville so maybe we can get up there. Such soul! It's written by George Gershwin, from "Porgy and Bess". There are countless really amazing recordings too over the years- Janis Joplin had a huge hit with it in the '70's....and it's been covered by every great jazz vocalist as well...

This is a really good version, but I miss the vibes; they're one of my favorite aspects of the piece. Did it originally have vocals or where they a later addition? Most of the Gershwin recordings I've heard are strictly instrumental.
