  • Oh Ultra-Humanite. If humanity ever bows down to a dictating super-villain, I hope it's you.

  • LMFAO "Along with my special helper Freaky The Snowman!" LOL I <3 Flash

  • I watched the snow fall during the entire video :)

  • The World needs more Flash, and less Jon Stewarts.

Question- "Rap can create sound waves that can cause an adverse reaction in the hippocampus causing people to get angry. Courtesy of Area 51...and comrade Stalin."

  • I kept waiting for the Flash to meet Arnold looking for a Turboman...

  • Do you realise that the kids looked like mini versions of some of the JLU?

  • @pinkanimefan Who, exactly?

  • this is one of the best episodes of the entire show... in my opinion

  • Good! One vote. Christmas with flash is a good idea, I though. It's easy to design a Christmas photo card or Christmas flash video gallery with tools of Kvisoft.com.

  • FLASH SAVES CHRISTMAS !!!

    thumbs up for 2011

  • the ending is so sad, the flash is such a great guy.

  • Humanite has epic narrative/reading voice.

  • Turbo-Man.

  • LOL JAPAN IS AWESOME!

  • Why couldn't Bruce Tim just write all the DC comics from now on? I'm sick of "edgy."

  • @Andacar62 One with the reasons why people don't read comics anymore.

  • I kind of liked it when it made the pooping noise

  • Ultra-Humanite > Gorilla Grodd.

  • That rubber ducky is the worst toy I have ever, ever, and I mean ever, seen.

  • who needs santa when you got the flash

  • What a twist!

  • freaky the snowman is WAY better than frosty

  • that commercial was weird

  • In Ultrahumanites defense.... The art was made by hipsters.

  • That toy seemed more meaningful when Humanite made some adjustments to it.

  • you'll see that if flash ever became a dad, he's be really good at it :)

  • you hit me fi-irst!

    advanced my butt!

  • even villains need a good holiday from time to time...

  • a vilian with a heart? awwww

  • Flash, guy is the best.

  • This episode is exactly why this flash is my favorite superhero of all time!!!!! He is the sweetest and funniest crimefighter around!!!!

  • Oh my gosh! He is the sweetest, most thoughtful superhero ever! He could have spent his Christmas with his family or partying somewhere, but he chose to spend it all in service.

  • @moonlightdragonrider With Flash's speed there's no reason he can't do all three lol

  • Wich is this part??

  • Flash has the best villains XD

  • who would ever imagine a super villian doing a good deed? guess when it comes down to it,i had a feeling itd be humanite that would change his heart for something as pure and as joyfull as christmas!i mean, for goodness sakes: he did help bring in luthor once, for crying out loud, lol

  • Imagine if there was an exchange between Batman and the Joker like this.

  • I wish I had Flash as my babysitter when I was little.... ):

  • "Along with my special helper, Freaky the Snowman!"

"...Just give them the toy and take me to jail."

  • 5:54 is the single-greatest JL moment I've ever seen.

  • Why does the Flash have to be so sweet!!!!

  • 329 likes out of 2 dislikes!

    HA YOU FAGS

  • So the big thing is rapping ducks that make fart noises? Oh, you crazy kids. XD

  • woah woah only toy left in a factory....wtf bro

  • Anyone else think flash was gonna go to the north pole at 2:06?

  • @Shadowheartmk Well we ALL KNOW that Clark would have.

  • @Shadowheartmk Exactly what I thought!

  • @Shadowheartmk Till I saw Mount Fuji lol

  • someone just want to get the heck out their so bad he rather go to jail?!?! lol that so sad and kind of funny

  • "I kinda liked it when he made the poopy noise."

  • of course...everything is made in china or japan

  • Ultra-Humanite: the gorrila smarter than gorrila grodd with a heart of gold

  • @Santostay14 And a thing for true, along with a dislike for some of the 'modern' art. At least he's one of the very few villains I actually admire.

  • Respond to this video... True culture i mean

  • I almost thought the Ultra-Humanite was going to shoot DJ Rubber Duckie and blow it to pieces. Having him fall on top of it was so unexpected.

  • This is so touching

  • That ending always makes me tear up a little. It's really touching. : )

  • Ultra-Humanite: The one villan smart enough to be nice to kids

  • Aw, sweet:)

  • I love Flash. He may be a little arrogant sometimes, but he's so sweet and so sincere. <3

  • So I got you a shitty Christmas tree!

  • and this is why I loved Flash as a kid!

  • They want a DJ Quack Quack for Christmas?

  • @analbumcover500 HA! Somebody else who remembers DJ Quack Quack! =D

  • @analbumcover500 Let me guess... Dexter's Lab? Cause I was thinking that too.

  • Humanite was my favorite villian. Just cuz he dares to use jejune in a sentence.

  • You gotta love how Flash can (more or less) make a bad guy into a good guy :)

  • The Ultra-Humanite is a fictional character that appears in comic books published by DC Comics. The character first appeared in Action Comics #13 (June 1939), and was created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster. Debuting as an enemy of Superman, he is the first recurring comic book supervillain

  • I can't believe you made a mini-episode for the Flash. This is so cool.

  • wow the flash is in PIS mode always here in JLU

  • I have to admit a 2:40 I thought it was Flash breaking the sound barrier.

  • When gorilla groad was fixubg the toy i was on the same wavelenth as flash. I THOUGHT IT WAS GONNA BLOW UP TOO XD

  • this is the only episode i saw that didn't say "to be continued"

  • Anyone know where that monkey with the huge brain came from? he was in both seasons of the justice league but they never said where he came from.

  • @FGGTZORZ He's the Ultra-Humanite. He's actually credited as being the first super-villain ever. He's a genius scientist who was intended to contrast Superman, in that he was an evil genius with a frail crippled body. He was assumed dead after his first appearance, but it turned out he can transfer his mind into other bodies, including that of an actress, an insect, and a t-rex. The albino gorilla body is just the most well-known of his bodies

  • @TheRealAkaRai Thanks for the explanation!

  • @FGGTZORZ he was a scientist who was experimenting with brin tranfers and accidently put his brain in a monkey body.

  • The Ultra-Humanite in the JLU cartoons is pretty far removed from his comics roots. In the comics his most defining trait is ruthlessness, whereas in the JLU it's principles (even if they're principles that he sometimes uses to justify destruction and violence).

Gotta love how they drop so much (implied) character revelation in with the "we had one just like it" line. He grew up to reject an uncultured upbringing, but even so, he's got fond memories in his heart. His mutated gorilla heart.

  • This episode really shows the difference between the Timmverse Humanite and his comic book counterpart. While the Timmverse version thinks placing a bomb in the toy is a laughable notion, his DCU counterpart would have probably done just that for his own shits and giggles.

While the comic book version was the original and probably my favourite supervillain, I really love what they did with the character when translating him to tv - a benevolent but angry villain instead of a Lecter-esque killer

  • "i kinda liked it when he made the poopie noise" lol

  • I -really- like the VA they have for Wally in JLU. These clips show all the silly inflections he has.

  • Aw! That's sweet!

  • Why is the white ape interested in human culture if he's a talking gorilla? Whats his story?

  • @captainunload He was a human, a sophisticated scientist (kind of like Luthor), and he experimented with some tech and now he's a talking giant, albino ape. Wiki: Ultra Humanite.

  • @Joecbg100

I see. Thanks for the info.

  • @Joecbg100 Nope. Humanite was a scientist with an incurable degenerative disorder; however, he was smart enough to work out that only his body was dying - if he could transplant his brain in to a new body, he would be physically "cured". His mind however is incurable, UH is one of the most twisted villains in comics: he has no moral boundaries when it comes to his research, often murdering women and children simply for a new body with which to "experiment" - The albino ape's being his favourite.

  • @JimmyColls

He seems pretty moral in this episode (for a villain). He helps Flash with the Duck for the kids. Seems sentimental.

  • that duck is retarded...

  • Seeing flash doing things like this makes me wish that Ryan Reynolds was playing him instead of Hal Jordan *shakes head*

  • 2 people have no heart....

  • I wonder if that duck's like Teddy Ruxpin? If so maybe they can put other tapes in him and hear other stories.

  • D.J. Rubber Ducky!? WTF? X_x Still, awesome episode. XD

  • Thanks me4321. This video is better than the full episode. And why can't all villains be like Ultra-Humanite?

  • My heart is warmed by this.

  • can someone tell what the name of the melody during the naration is?^^

  • "Freaky the Snowman"? Nice one, Wally.

  • that duck was farting!!! Ha Ha Ha!

  • i love flash he is the biggest sweety ever!

  • utra-humanite IS a nice guy =3 he just goes about thing a difff way but hell still a good guy =D

  • whats up with the giant monkey with the testicles on his head?

  • DCAU always makes the villains more than just one sided, I actually do sympathize with U-H deeply in this, and what he did was great for the kids to :)

  • awww ^_____^

The only thing I didn't like about this was that STUPID duck. That change was FAR better than the original.

  • I allways like ultra huminite, he was always more of an anti- villian. P.S it's so weird hearing lex luthors voice cone out of the flash!

  • this clip just goes to show you why the justice league show was one of the best animated superhero series ever! I really miss it.

  • I love FLash <3 Hes so cute !!!

    AND A GOOOD GUY

  • The flash sounds like teh guy who play Lex in smallville! I think it is

  • @antony492 Yeah, it's Michael Rosenbaum.

  • @antony492 He is. Which is funny, since there was a christmas special on Smallville that involved Lex's dream, Clark delivering gifts in a totally non-creeper manner, and Clark preventing the real Santa Claus from committing suicide. And there is ONE episode of this show where this actor (Michael Rosenbaum) voices Lex Luthor, but that's because he and flash switch bodies. Works well though, since Lex is smart enough to fully utilize his super-speed.

  • I prefer this version of the Ultra Humanite over the comics version.

  • lol. thats righ

  • I like Ultra Humanite, he is a cool villian. It's ashame Justice League didn't do more stories with him, but don't you think he should have a more.....secure cell.

  • what episode is this??

  • Episode 49: Comfort and Joy

  • Dj. Rubber "fucking farthead" Ducky... wth what a fucked up toy :b????...

  • When you think about it, isn't it dangerous to give a mechanical genius any amount of solid metal or electric device? Searieusly he had all the components to make a small tazer.

  • Aww. How cute. This made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

  • Bar none... best animated christmas special ever. Only thing that comes close is Pinky and the Brain... which is remarkably similar, now that I think about it. :)

  • they still have a good in thier head..altough they were evil

  • lol this goes to show that some villains at heart, really are good guys ^^ and its episodes like these are the best when both good guys and bad guys call a truce in joy for the Christmas spirit

  • Gotta love a villain who shoots up a museum because he doesn't like the art. Ha ha!

  • They actually made Ultra-Humanite much nicer in the animated version than he was in the comics. He also appeared in an earlier Justice League episode where he was a member of Luthor's group and betrayed them because Batman offered him more money than Luthor....money which he donated to Public Broadcasting!!! LOL

  • @Lissbirds in one of the episodes he made a deal with batman to donate a shit tone of money to the culture channel so he can watch it in jail and piss of lex luthor.

  • Ultrahumanite has the right idea, down with 'modern' art!

  • Only The Flash's storyline would include a fart joke!

  • I gotta hand it to them. DC's animation always had the more entertaining and, at times, the most moving Christmas episodes. Even the mighty 90's X-Men cartoon didn't have as interesting a X-Mas episode.

  • the one where wolverine saves leech with the blood transfusion and gambit and jean argue over christmas dinner?

i dont know man that was a real tear jerker...damn that was a good episode im gonna go watch it

  • The Ultra-Humanite and Flash are awesome.

  • Yay Flash, but Ultra-Humanite rules.

  • Flash saves Christmas :D

  • The Flash by far has the best personality out of all the Superheroes ive seen. Supergirl is a close second, i like her spunky attitude lol.

  • DJ Rubbah Duckie = Turboman, lol.

They should have just replaced DJ with Turboman for this episode, would have been so much better..

  • Flash is so cool. He knows everyone in Cental City.

  • flash is the coolest and funniest of the justice league lol 5 stars!

  • I loved that

    "But why'd you hit me?"

    "you hit me first"

  • I would've been like, "Hit you first? Bitch, you tried to shoot me!!"

  • Why are the Christmas episodes so damn awesome?

  • aww! So some villains are nice just for the season. love it

  • Actually I think there are few villains beside the Ultra Humanoide who would do something like this, the guy's less evil than most other villains on JLU.

  • imagine if flash hit a patch of ice O-O

  • i know the Flash isn't the strongest but he is the best and could most likely take out a good portion of the JL before he gets beaten, he's my fav

  • well he did beat the brainac/luther fusion guy...lemme rephrase totally ANNIHILATED him :D

  • i think Ultra-Humanite ...is more likly like "the punisher"...i mean hes not a hero..but hes not such a bad guy(gorilla)..at all...hes to much into art a culture...lol...even he said it.."i welcome any oportunity to bring culture to the Uncorupted"...now that's a nice one....:)

  • lol i love it how heroes and villains set aside their differences for a little holiday spirit

  • go rubba go rubba go rubba ducky

  • flash is my favorite!!!!

  • Who's faster the flash or quicksilver from marvel?

  • quick silver cant even hit 200 m/h so flash is

  • Christmas specials make heroes look extra good and I love it. XD

  • This is friggin hartwarming......and its March....Damn.....

  • I think the Humanite and Solomon Grundi are my two most favorite villans... In that underneath it all... They're really good guys...

    Peace!!!

  • I almost snorted cola all over my computer at "Freaky the Snowman." ^_^

  • this episode makes me wish it were christmas season

  • Thats me :D

  • why cant there be more villians like ultra humanite ? hes so, so, wise :3

  • The Flash owns all Justice League

  • Flash is the only member of the Justice League who doesn't feel compelled to resort to violence to get the villain to co-operate. He treats them like a human and not like monsters.

  • superman? manhunter?

  • Superman doesn't resort to killing and he does have a kind heart, but he does resort to violence a lot of the time.

I agree that Manhunter is a more passive being, though.

I just like how in "Flash and Substance", Flash intervenes when the other heros get aggressive with the Trickster, then is able to just be kind to the Trickster to get him to co-operate. =)

In The Flash comics (#227 - Dec '05) Flash says that the best fight is the one that doesn't need to be fought.

  • Sun Tzu also said that.

    But all the same, agreed.
