  • Another rilly neat post. Boy, you've got some staying power. I can only hope to one day make it to my 1339th song. This is a really peppy number! I like it lots :)

  • @sumerias1 I did plan to stop at 1001, but it's hard to break the habit!

  • @raymondcrooke I understand. I'm only a 'lil past 100 and I get really fidgety if I miss a day or two. You're great and a continuing inspiration!

  • nice one

  • @clivedavies3 Thank you.

  • Really love these songs!!!

  • @1952banjo Somehow I can't imagine you singing this one!

  • Now that's a song I can get behind!

  • @SirCoughsalot It's a very English one. Certainly fun to sing.

  • that takes me back a bit Raymond - in the late '60s I worked at Crewe theatre when they did a production of "Oh what a lovely war" - I had the job of raising and lowering a banner of Kitchener from the flys. Needless to say the song wasn't sung in the true army fashion! Truly enjoyed your version - all the best :o) Alan

  • @blinddrunkal I remember it was a very enjoyable show when I saw it here in Melbourne. The film was pretty good too. Thanks for your comment, Alan.

  • Great song. Always liked it

  • @thatjellyfish A lot of great songs came out of those terrible wars.
