I believe the water level was about that when we went recently. I agree that less water would have made it difficult. We camped directly behind the truck seen at about 00:08. This video helped me know what to expect. Thank you. It is a beautiful trip.

There used to be a joke about the Muddy being clear and

Virgin River being Muddy--guess the off road vehicles and four wheelers have had an impact. If you really want to see mud go up the Dirty Devil.
