People always say the Marines are strong and way better than the Army, which they are but anyone whose enlisting for the Army i say chose the Marines well coming from my brother and everyone else i know. @FastEddie718 marsoc and force recon are 2 different things. though there are elements of FR in marsoc, the selection process is different for both. last i read, marsoc was created in the 75th's image so theyed have a place in ussocom.

Im so close, I've lost 81 pounds so far just to join the army. So long as I continue to have god on my side and keep working hard to lose these last 20 pounds ill be headed to basic within the next month or so.
The one thing that sticks out in my mind about my Drill Sgt (SSG Brumfeld, Ft. Jackson, 1982) is this. He NEVER smiled. Through the entire Cycle, he never smiled. He also showed us a new way to kill a man every Saturday evening before he left for the day.

The one thing that sticks out in my mind about my Drill Sgt (SSG Brumfeld, Ft. Jackson, 1982) is this. He NEVER smiled. Through the entire Cycle, he never smiled. He also showed us a new way to kill a man every Saturday evening before he left for the day.

@ZombieSlayerMovies: DI is a Marine Corps term, it means Drill Instructor. There are no DIs in the Army. There are Drill Sergeants, and Senior Drill Sergeants in the Army.
