At least his part of her trying to hipnotize conan is similar to the one on the "The Hour of the Dragon". Akivasha was a princess not queen. Her atraction to conan is familiar to the one on the "xuthal of the dusk". Both Akivasha and thalis were women from stygia similar to mesmira.
