@LCAmarkymark I kind of agree now that you mention it. They both had 3 passes, but Maloney's was MUCH harder. Maloney landed deep on one pass and it brought her all the way down to a 9.412. I don't understand either.

Raducan is still the Olympic gold medalist no matter what you say, just cause of some cold medicine, Amanar is still the silver medalist, they just gave her the wrong medal!

i still cant believe amanar won gold...i loove amanar !! but only on floor and vault...she is not good on uneven bars and beam at all...and i think this routine isn't so amazing...it's just ok....

@bertera1614 I agree with you, but this isn't Amanar, this is Olaru. But again I agree with you, she wasn't at her best here, she went out on her 2nd tumbling pass, and the overall quality was not as great as she used to be. Maybe because she was injured and had surgery before the Olympics, which took away a lot of training time. I think she was better 1998 and 1999.

The sydney olympics were a disgrace for the women, khorkina + raducan. Athens was a disgrace for men's gymnastics. Let's hope the FIG get their shit together in Beijing!

By the way, i thought the exact same thing as nastialiukinfan when i watched this video: that step out cost her the AA olympic title!

Actually, things are a little bit different. Liu Xuan said she doesn`t diserve the bronze medal(she considers Andreea Raducan the4 real champion and refused to take that medal.Even now, that bronze medal is kept in a safety place at CIO center. Amanar was disgusted regarding to CIO decision (stripping Andreea by her gold medal) and said the only reason for her taking this medal is because the gold medal BELONGS Romania. From what I heard, she gave the gold medal back to Andreea.
