Tim Allen is now in a new sitcom called,"Last Man Standing". He plays a guy named Mike who's marketer at company called Outdoor Man, which makes & sells camping and hunting supplies run by his weird boss, Ed. Mike lives with his wife, Vanessa and his 3 daughters, Kristine 20(who's dating Kyle, a boy who works at Outdoor Man), Mandy 17 and Eve 13 and his grandson, Boyd 2(who Kristine had at 18).

It's funny but not goofy, the way sitcom's used to be! :)

It's on ABC every Tuesday night!

Home Improvement was the king of TV shows in the 90's. Disney channel sucks nowadays. Nothing beats Home Improvement. It sits there right between anime and video games!

@WWAHP he told everyone it was for school but right after he left he started making movies. disney made this show and also the movies jtt starred. basically they saw how popular he was and convinced him to go into movies (a career choice jtt later regretted as it went nowhere). bcuz of this "lie" tim felt betrayed, made some comments to the press. jtt boycotted the show. but later on they all made up.

I remember that on TV there was a reunion show of HI, can you find it, @HIcrywishes? I wasn't able to catch it on TV when they did it a few years ago. What I think I remember from commercial is that it was Tim and Richard (Al) on stage in front of an audience, in a tool time set... I dont know...

I've said it before and I'll say it again.. There's really no reason why Jonathan Taylor Thomas couldn't have returned for AT LEAST ONE of the three part finale episodes.. The fact that he wasn't there to take final bows with the rest of the cast is ridiculous IMO.. That's what happens when money goes to a young person's head...

@DeathscytheRick saw 3 clips of the new show this morning. Have you (or anyone) seen trailers and if so, what do you think? Hmm, I wasn't that keen, if I'm honest. He seemed to play Tim Taylor type character but with 3 daughters and a despairing wife (like Jill). Maybe it will grow on me. Perhaps it's because I still watch HI so it was a bit like he was cheating with another family! LOL

I kept half expecting to see Mark or Brad appear. Just do a HI reunion show, Tim!!
