  • You should like The Beatles because you have a brain.

    Unless, of course, you don't.

  • freddy mercury >>> kurt cobain

  • anyway does it realy mater i like quite a lot of beatles music and queen music. but id rather see queen than the beatles as i have on five different ocations. i also went to school with brian mays cousin

  • sorry mate but queen have sold more albums in england than the beatles i gather you dont know that much about music

  • One of their best songs.

  • smagid, The Beatles would outsell ANYONE. It's just a fact. I adore Queen, but the Beatles are supreme...any of the artists you mentioned as being more talented would agree to that as well. They know.

  • @mgpm17 that doesnt mean we should like Beatles just because they inspired Queen. that's a fallacy.

  • @shariotoflove You should like The Beatles no matter what. Anything else, now THAT would be a fallacy.

  • @CentraCross I dont see why I have to like the music of the Beatles. i tell you what though, i have utmost respect for the Beatles for influencing bands like Queen and respect that they were musicians that worked their asses off.

  • i know that if it where possible to see either band live in the 70 80 or90ties or even today i know who would sell the most tickets and it wouldnt be the beatles

  • sorry freind but if your on about singing and musicle talent then queen are by far the better talent. Also i can name two more talented bands or singers than the beatles pink floyed music wise are better that the beatles roy orbison a better singer than any in the beatles plus elvis presley

  • My personal favorite off the album, It should have been on the greatest hit CD set.

  • remember when there were bands? holy shit dude!

i seriously hope musicians and real live music don't end up going the way of vaudeville

  • WHY DOESN'T THIS SONG HAVE A MILLION AND A HALF VIEWS???

    It's so...perfect.

  • One of kurt cobain's favorite songs

  • R.I.P. Freddie, 20 years dead today.

  • Someone unplugged my I-Pod headphones just as this song started in the library. So I did the only sensible thing and TURNED UP THE FUCKING VOLUME!!!!!!!

  • one of my fave Queen songs

  • * * * * *

  • Soooo awesome, my favorite song on this album!

  • i hate advertisements

  • This was the first song I played when I got my very own stereo from my Mom for my 16th birthday. That'll be 30 years ago this month. That stereo is gone, Freddie is gone, Mom is gone, but the music lives on and on. Cheers!

  • @AnoziraNoscut You're lucky to have been alive in the same era as Freddie Mercury (aka, God's singing tutor!) All this generation gets are the songs / videos that are left behind. What's more, this generation is infected with that techno/hip-hop/rapping crap played at night clubs. Queen forever!

  • Through the entire amzing song I was hoping the extend the chorus a few more bars, and when the ending came along I just squeeled in glee! I love Queen. They Deliver.

  • great tap solo!!!like holdsworth's solo!

  • did they insert an advert in your video without your consent?

  • like if about a son brought you here

  • @Korvinski im sorry, i love the awesome queen as much as the next person but thats crossing the LINE when you say they are better than the beatles, if anything its the other way!

  • fuck you comercial!!

  • BEST BAND EVER EXISTED IN EARTH

  • The entire musical score of Flash Gordon demonstrates that no member of Queen has a problem with their music appearing in stupid movies so why have all of you got to get in such a strop about it? Calm down and enjoy the music.

  • really love this song, even though it is not as heard of as many of the others, which is a shame as it is brilliant! nice writing and - as ever - guitar input brian xx

  • @queenrthechampions Lovely Bri Bri wrote it.

  • @SnugglySara yes i find some of the best queen songs are written by brian. they are all brilliant but i love bri's stuff - fat bottomed girls, this, keep yourself alive, the list is endless!

    love queen!

  • This could be one of the most popular Queen song of all time. But it's too long so that it's underrated.

  • @HanKyeolYoon Shit, "Bohemian Rhapsody" is longer than this song, and I think "Somebody to Love" is, too. I have no idea why this song didn't chart better than it did other than there's no accounting for taste.

  • Like if Stonewall008 brought you here

  • My opinion best song they ever did. Got the upmost respect for brian and roger but why do they keep calling themselves queen. It all ended on 24 nov 1991 and although paul rodgers is a fine singer hes no freddie

  • @TheShand73 It bums me out now to see Queen still on TV cuz it just ain't Queen without Freddie. :( They should've hung up their crowns years ago.

  • @HippieChick1776 they're still musicians and friends, you can't blame them for wanting to keep touring.

also this song is so underrated. probably their best of the late '70s and one of brian's best solos too.

  • This song was perfect at the end of Observe and Report.

  • You know what part i hated the most?? 6:25 when it ended :(

  • Observe and Report

  • Brian May, you truly are a god.

  • AWESOME..!!

  • THis song is so AWESOME!! Just like all Queen songs! I love Queen and Freddie Mercury!

  • 0 people are late

  • this song rocks

  • Kurt cobain about a son brought me here

  • @RatRaceTV the same for me :D

  • @RatRaceTV oh shit thought i was the only one :O !!!!! long live the legacy of queen and kurt cobain.

  • STFU!

This song is god and if you didn't know about this song then go kill yourself you piece of filth! The cheese on my dick is better than you! GTFO of my life you nothing!

  • @kermitcintronsucks How am I nothing? You still live with your mother and pick fights through a computer screen. I can name a million awesome songs that you haven't heard of.

  • @RatRaceTV there are so many of us. People, in the world I mean.;)

  • This song is my official themesong :)

    I'm 15 :)

  • Put the kids to bed

    Grab some headphones or earbuds

    Turn it up

    Play drums

    Have a fantastic eargasm

No rock song can do this

You'll be sweating and out of breath

Better than *some* sex you've had

  • Can't argue with you there, my brother........

  • Because most of their music sucks thats why. I hated them back in the day. I like AC/DC, KISS, Led Zep, DIO ETC... not GAGA. Even thou GAGA is very talented..lol.

  • 16 years old, male, and I hit the very last WAHH note. I feel accomplished.

  • zero dislikes now thats what i like to see :D

  • @gallantman44 can you please tell me why do you think QUEEN is over rated?Because in my opinion QUEEN should be the the last band for which anyone can say it's over rated?I'm just asking .Maybe because you like justttttttin biebbber or lady faga

  • The greatest queen song ever

  • I grew up with this song <3 <3

  • freddie was a genius they all were

  • I LOVE Brian's solo in this..awesome!!!!

  • Epic tune from the greatest band its bigger than any movie

  • Please tell me that everyone hasn't viewed my favorite Queen song of all time because of some stupid movie. Please tell me that there's still legit music lovers out there.

  • @TheAerochick13 oh no sir!!!!! we exist

  • @TheAerochick13 why should it matter where we heard the song first? i've been a queen fan for years but had never heard this song until i watched 'observe and report', and maybe the people who remember hearing the song in the movie and spend the time to find it afterwards are 'legit music lovers'.

  • i found out about this song from the documentary about Kurt Cobain "about a son"

  • You make me wonder, if I live my life right...

  • Can I just say I think it's sad that people automatically connect a CLASSIC song with a Seth Rogen movie, and not to the fact that Queen is and will always been one of the best real Rock And Roll bands of all time. I am willing to bet that a lot of people wouldn't even know this song if it wasn't in a movie. Freddy Mercury could outsing almost any singer, past and present.

  • @ffrc074 Hold on, why wouldn't you want to song to be in a film. It proves that Queen are still hugely popular to be used in a cult film, especially at the part where it's used. I'd rather have the songs played out to as many people as possible. People heard it on the film and then came to listen to it online. How is that not great?

  • @ffrc074 i agree he was awsome man, and people aren't connecting it with the movie at all, simply explaining how they first heard the song in the movie and how theyre thankful that it's featured in it. 'I am willing to bet that a lot of people wouldn't even know this song if it wasn't in a movie.' so what? whay should it matter? douche

  • i love this song in the kurt cobain movie

  • Whoever doesn't like this song has no taste whatsoever....has all the elements of a great song, killer riffs, great drums, great vocals.........then kicks ass at the end. Has to be the best Queen song ever!

  • They didn't bring enough pigs to hurt Ronnie.

  • Freddie at his best

  • Ah, wish I was a teen again. The music was the great. Real stars who wrote their own music and played & would sing with heart, Like Queen~

  • The best band, fuck you all who disgree. :D

  • @SlashWorshipper1993 i would agree if the radio didn't make me hate them

  • @SlashWorshipper1993 of course, who's better???

  • Shhhhh! Don't cast dispersions using profanity in front of Freddy!!

  • @SlashWorshipper1993 lol ever heard of everyones entitled to their oppionion?

  • that drum splatter just before the third verse kicks in and slows the song back down again blows me away

  • Huh, seems I'm the only one here that doesn't like this song because of some stupid movie. Legitimate Queen fans, FTW.

  • Another underrated song by Queen and one of my favorites from the band.

  • I can't believe I never heard this 1 !!!They all Rock As Always!!!!!!!!!!!Peace!!!!!

  • @undrmythum I saw them seven times, first was at Madison Square Garden just after Night at the Opera was released (seats were $8.00!!!). I promise you I'm not saying this to brag, I'm saying it with tears in my eyes listening to this song and realizing there might have been ten more years of great music if Freddie hadn't died far too prematurely. No band ever put on a better show, they just owned the stage.

  • Apparently i'm one of the few people who knew about this song before Observe and Report, which i've still yet to see

  • @mastersam23 I also don't know about Observe and Report, but I've known about this song for a couple of years now...... It sounds like a funny movie though, I might watch it somehow. :D

  • @mastersam23 Same here!

  • "fuck you Ronnie, is that a new hat." lol

  • This is one heck of a song..

  • "hows it hangin? low I hope," Dennis Cervantes

  • one of my favorite songs to one of my favorite movies of all time.

  • IMHO one of, if not the, best Queen song.

  • Topsong! VERY happy with this upload! Thanks!

  • News Of The Word was the best album of 1977. Only Bowie's album and Steve Miller's Book Of Dreams were second.

  • @jadg70 Which Bowie album? Low, or Heroes? Both are 1977. ;)

I have to agree, this is a fucking great album, one of the best of 1977. "Low" was amazing as well.

  • News of the World was in EVERYONE'S album collection in the late '70s, and for good reason, it was Queen at their peak!

  • F U C K I N G E P I C

  • observe and reports best song

  • 5:54 to 6:25 Kinda sounds like Communication Breakdown by Led Zeppelin. Awesome song though!

  • The best part is 0:00-6:25 :)

  • i love this song!

  • I'm in love with this song

  • I win- Ronnie Barnhart :)

  • The intro is amazing. I mean life changing amazing.

  • great tapping....May master

  • i love when i can just hear brian's screaming guitar join in

  • epic ending drum solo

  • @omfg51 Just a couple of triplets my friend! :) Roger loves his triplets!

I love the drum sound off this whole album actually! :)

  • ugh, this song is so underrated. it's def. one of my favorite queen songs.

  • Kick ass movie!!!

  • This man had an unbelievable vocal range.

  • @BasementBeginnings 4 entire octaves to be exact

  • @BasementBeginnings Thats certainly one reason why Queen was such a great band. I've never heard any singer with a vocal range that could compare to Freddie, and sing on key as well as Freddie did. Also, they were great writers of songs. I guess Lennon and McCartney could compare in terms of writing.

  • @clintonearlwalker Many people criticized Mercury's songwriting, much in the same way they did Lennon and maybe McCartney. It's a shame when brilliant people are put down for trying something new. I guess the new and the unknown scares most people.

  • @BasementBeginnings To me, thats non-sense. I have nearly every queen album, been listening to them since the early 70's. They wrote and performed some of the best songs in history of music as far as I'm concerned. As it said on many of their early albums, No synths.

  • @clintonearlwalker I've enjoyed the classics in my childhood as well.

Why play those things (synths) when you’ve got a lovely superb grand piano? Believe it or not, Freddy thought he wasn't a good piano player. Many would disagree. Calling Freddy's piano playing "backing piano" would be an understatement. He WAS the band. I guess geniuses have the tendency to dislike their own work.

  • @BasementBeginnings Freddie was certainly great, but the other 3 members of that band were great also. It's kind of hard to call their style of music "rock" I guess cuz they had a sound all their own. Brian May MADE his guitar from a fireplace mantle, and I have a book that says Freddie was born in Zanzibar. There were certainly a unique group, with a unique sound nearly impossible to copy, people that try are usually pretty lame.

  • observe and report is a terrible movie

  • @funbeams Fail. It rocks.

  • hey, fuck you Ronnie you fuckin' asshole

  • 1967 got Dustin Hoffman in The Graduate, 1976 got Robert DeNiro in Taxi Driver and 2009 got Seth Rogen in Observe and Report! I know there are two decades missing in there but this is as far as I am prepared to take this analogy. Great movie and this song was used to great effect. Waydago Ronnie!

  • Observe and Report got terrible reviews and after watching it once I was on the fence. After my third viewing I would call it one of the better movies I have seen in a long time; the lasting mood this song creates is a big reason why. Queen are rock gods, Freddy is Zeus and this is their most underrated song.

  • This is a top-runner for Best Song Ever. A few of us old phartz remember when this music came out, and it sounds better than ever today. Now that is the mark of great music. Freddie Mercury may you live forever!

  • @soyounoat Amen!!!!

  • FUCK YOU HARRISON, I WIN!!!

  • i win weve caught de flasher

  • there's 6-8 crackheads downstairs that can confirm it.

  • Yeah i found this song from the movie too haha

    Weird tuning by the way

  • Fuck you Ray Liotta. You lose, I win. Go Ronnie.

  • I gotta see this movie 'Observe and Report' . If Queen's in it it can't be all bad. Aint a big Kevin Spacey fan.

  • @Deadcat069 That's good cause he has nothing to do with Observe and Report.

  • yes sir

  • "Fuck You! AND IF ANYBODY WANTS A GIRL THAT'LL HAVE SEX WITH YOU THEN GETS TO FUCK YOUR ENEMY, GO TO BRANDY! CAUSE SHE'S THE GIRL THAT'S DOES THAT!"

    Ronnie Barnhart N Queen Rocks!!!

  • fuck you- fuck you- FUCK ALL OF YOU! ... i win. >8\

  • @drumONdrugs23 I loved the one cop who was nice to him when he flipped him off he was just like

    What the heck?

  • @KickenItOldSchool you might think that i float... you know- maybe even walk on water and stuff. but i mean to tell you that sometimes... i drink out of the volcano...

  • RONNIE BARNHART!!

  • Yup, just watched Observe and Report.... good call Coyote....

  • Haha... Oh my god. Were we all sent here out of obligation from watching Observe and Report? Awesome.

  • lol i WIN YOU LOSE!!!!!

  • GO RONNIE!!

    HEAD OF MALL SECURITY!!!

  • I had forgotton all about this song until i saw that movie... a movie i was sure i was going to hate... but thought it was great

  • @DarthMadg The soundtrack was better than the movie

  • Thanks for posting this. I absolutely hate all the CD's that ripped us off of the first 2 notes!

  • Terseness is my forte.

  • ABSOLUTE FCUKING CLASSIC.
