Call me crazy. Anyway, I've been thinking about buying the Expositor's Study Bible because Rev. Swaggart knws the Bible better than 99% of us and does preach it. However, 1Tim2:12 is clear. You can all come to Mr. Swaggart's defense but who will come to yours when you find out the hard way that he has been feeding you lies? Believe what you will but God went through great detail in warning us of what is to come, including false teachers... If you choose to believe a lie... that's on you. Rapture me NOT! If Satan wants to give you an easy way out, to escape the tribulation, pack lightly.
i totally disagree with this! pastor jimmy is a man of God and almost everybody talks bad about him but the devil is a liar yall need to leave this man alone and pray for him like real christians would, i have this bible and it has opened my mind alot to the true meanings of the word of God! jimmy swaggart is a man of God and just a human being just like the rest of us. i recieved an expositors study bible for my 18th birthday and i can't stop reading it eversince i love it, may not agree with everything says but he knows his word. thats why whenever you read any bible you need to be prayed up and in the spirit, yes the notes are red but he made them italic to let the reader know he added them as the first KJB scholars did whenever they added to the bible in 1611, God bless!
You are entitled to your opinion. But I have this Bible and have had it for 3 years now and it is wonderful. If anything? It showed how the false preachers had been twisting scriptures and for the 1st time I saw what the Word really meant. This has been a blessing to me and the Swaggarts are a blessing too.
If you want to get into the word of God, I recommend the Thomas Nelson King James study bible. (it has good study notes and has Greek/literal translations for various bible words.
I bought jimmy swaggart's expositor's study bible it originally sells for like 100 on his site . Got it for 70 on ebay . I think swaggart's an ok dude and liked his preachn in the 80s . but was some what dissapointed on the book . There are a lot of scriptures he has interpreted wrong . In fact a video on you tube he preaches on revelation and what he has wrote in the book some of it is opposite of what he said on the video

Brother you are not correct. For some 35 years I have allowed by God to teach in Bible colleges as a Theology, Greek and Hebrew professor.
From the view you espouse in this video you clearly do not know the Biblical text from the original Greek and Hebrew culture and mindset.
Women, were used many times to preach, convey and expound on the Word of God. i.e. Acts 21:9, " Four daughters, virgins, which did prophesy"
