I'm Amazed at how Daigo mastered the " Retracting sword DP" at any range. It's so difficult, but cool looking and nasty. I agree with the Sf4 graphins but not the engine, it F*cking sucks to me.
they need to make it like TvC visuals.. so it can still run fast.. because i can't imagine sf4 visuals moving this quick. i can settle for a similar look to TvC.... but i still prefer hand drawn animations for this game.
I dont think people fear evolution as such, I think they believe that what doesnt need to be changed (in this case the graphics) shouldnt be changed. Basically, if it isnt broken dont fix it.
@XIIMCMGIIX but it is "broken". For a long time now, Darkstalkers sprites look so sad between all the colorful new sprites in other games. It happened in mvC, mvC2, CvS2 and even Fighting Jam and it just looks sad. Capcom shut down their 2d sprite studio, so now the only chance is doing it 2.5d, SF4 style.
I see what your talking about, but I like the visual style of old 2D fighters like Darkstalkers, Newer 2D fighters like MVC and the 2.5D SFIV. It wont matter that much to me, but theres still a lot of people who love the nostalgic feeling of older looking sprites rather than new ones. Im not saying you are wrong, but thats how I understand it.

I dont think people fear evolution as such, I think they believe that what doesnt need to be changed (in this case the graphics) shouldnt be changed. Basically, if it isnt broken dont fix it.

At 2:01 you see a bug where Daigo does Bishamon's ES Command throw and it doesnt cost any meter.
