My wife is Irish and her ancestors had to flee Ireland when the Brits created the infamous potato famine which killed thousands. The Brits along with the French have caused the chaos in the Middle East with their policies of the 1920s. Practically every war we've gotten involved in globally is because of something the Brits did directly or indirectly before we got involved. Yes, there is definitely NO love between me and England - nada!

We were subjected to a load of shit when you had your elections for the man of the future, we had to watch days of it on TV like that is important, to who not any one out side of the US.

I've been off TV now for a little over five years and now I can't even stand to hear it in the next room. It is nothing but mindless drivel nowadays. I can remember when there were actually some good shows on but now its filled with "reality" shows and other worthless garbage. The news broadcasts are a joke and the "royal" wedding is just another way for them to blow smoke up our asses while they're picking out pockets.

I don't follow every little thing about this wedding but I'm mildly interested and will watch at least one of the million reruns of the bride arriving and marching up the aisle. That's about it. What fascinates me even more is the out and out anger and animosity about this wedding.
