@BobChippewa Wouldn't it be great if we could repeat the 50's & 60's again. Black & white TV's, Saturday matinée at the movies, NO computers, cell phones, video or mp3 players. We listened to records, boys & some girls played baseball in the street or touch football in the vacant lot. We played outside in the weather, hot, cold, wet or dry. We got dirty and used our imagination. We actually read books and girls made cookies and cakes from scratch. Sad, my kids didn't experience life then.
@ncatt yes and I would approve of it. Today's tv and entertainment is trash.Blame the hippies and the liberals who thought that they were doing great things but ruined everything.
This has always been one of my favorite songs by ANNETTE. I just love this song. She really had the sweetest singing voice. Her songs are so much fun to listen to.
I watched Annette as a Mousekateer as a child. Quite a talent she was. Then on to the surfing movies as a teen. Good luck Annette and thank you for all the fun.
This was from the Vista album "Teen Street" ~ hard to find nowadays. On the same album she sang "Two Against the World" - I don't know if this particular record by ANNETTE made the charts but it was a good effort ~ thanks for sharing.
I was a teenager back then, and I adored her....like all us guys at that age did. I ended up marrying a gorgeous brunette named "Annette". Hmmm.... (36 years together now too). ;-)
This is definatly going to be played at my wedding!!

Interesting...the beat of this song sounds like a combo Munsters and a Roy Orbison song.

Can you say she is a babe and a magnate for all the dudes, I know she is and that is all.

Its perfect. Annette Funicello is perfect. I honestly wish I could have been a teenager in the 60's. or 70's at the latest.

Congratulations! I'm sure it's not the name that made it last but I know it didn't hurt from our model's reputation. enjoy, many more!

@khachatour the 70's sucked! i was born in '62. i was a teen in the 70's. i wish i could have experienced the 50's and early 60's as a teen.

Believe me - those times were wonderful however, Annette had a lot of support
from family and Walt Disney who was her greatest Supporter in the business.
Those times 60s and70s were fun times but you had to be careful things were not
like those in the 50s. Perhaps there weren't a lot media attention as it is today.

This is one of the rarest Annette songs I've heard. It's never been reissued. The "Teen Street" album is available on ebay - on occasion.
