@albzzz I would go to McMaster Carr and look up stainless steel quick disconnects and pick from those. I would also check on homebrewtalk to see what they reccomend.
@TheHammer609 Im a fan of Northern Brewer and Brewmasters Warehouse . If you google them they should come up. Brewmasters Warehouse has a gigantic kit selection
@ChadzBeerReviews HAHAHA not a bad idea. Ive got a Belgian dubbel ive been aging for a year. Its bottle conditioned and corked and caged. I should send that out.
First off congrats on the 6 month old, just found out myself last Friday I'll be having a boy as well. Atleast they won't grow up on shit beer! But to the beer, a Belgian Tripple IPA huh?? sounds pretty damn good to me. What do you plan on brewing next? my vote is a coffee, vanilla, RIS for the upcoming fall/winter season.
@tmcmanus916 Thats awesome man!! Avery was our first, definitly a lifestyle changer!!!! Yah the Belgian triple is a La Chouffe Houblen clone. And I actually have an RIS sitting in a keg cellaring that i aged on 6 vanilla beans, 2oz of French oak cubes and a bottle of 15 year old bourbon! Just waiting for the right time to carbonate and drink it.
@Kuwarri I made a comment about Blichman products and how those are brand name and should be better. I have a cheap one that came with my lobster boiler and has poor resolution. The Blichman ones are expensive and can be calibrated. I made that very clear at the end of the video.
Killer setup Chris! I finally bought a freezer for temp. controlled fermentations along with the thermostat override device. I'm still doing extract brews but I also bought a cooler to convert into a mash tun. I think I'll be doing AG batches by the end of the year. I still need to get another bigger boil pot and a wort chiller and I'll probably get a keg setup as well.
@StumpyJoeJr Once you go AG you wont go back, the control you have over the color and taste is second to none. All my extract brews started to taste the same so I said enough was enough and just went AG.
@qchome thanks man! These videos are going to let people into my world more so then the beer reviews. Actually in the vid im posting Thursday my 6 month old son makes an appearance
@25openmind Yah a lot of people have room issues. I am going to be showing how to do small batches with minimal equipment too so dont worry!! Youll be able to brew as well
@BeerichiTuba THATS HOW WE ROLL! Thats about 5 years worth of buying equipment though. And I will be showing you guys how to do basic batches as well.
Sa-weeet-tah ! Man what a setup. That must've cost you some bank. People always ask me why I don't homebrew, the answer is I don't have room for that stuff in my apartment.
I'm surprised you waited 64 episodes to get into your homebrewing, you shoulda opened with this :D I would definitely like to try some of your stuff.
@Chad9976 Its called a Keezer because its a freezer you keep kegs in. At least in theory. Like a kegerator is a refrigerator plus kegs. And I didnt start with this because its a fairly broad subject that has a million ways to go. And its a lot easier at night to just sit down and film a beer review rather then drag all the homebrew equip out. It takes about 6 hours to make a batch so its a commitment.
wow......epic beer gear.

@TakeSomeAdvice Hmmm. I thought you didn't like analog thermometers.
You spent a whole video telling everyone that they are crap and not to use them.
But now you are digging the 300 dollar pot with an analog Thermometer.
Go Figure

@TakeSomeAdvice My analog that came with my Turkey Burner can be calibrated.
In fact, I have yet to see an analog thermometer that can't be calibrated.
I calibrate mine all the time and it is +1/-1 off from my digitals.
