I used the Giant island on SNES and somewhere in the final dungeon for the GBA, I used it instead of the Giant Island since in one of the rooms my characters could always win with Auto by level 60 so I could level while watching TV. I'm not sure how long it toke on either of them since I always pick the Cooking building, but I'm guessing around 30 hours for everyone on the GBA.

@Breathof1470 I used the healing pool in Infinity, right before the room that leads to Deathevn/Zodiacs and P. Dragons. Got all my characters to 99 there, quicker than Giant Island as the fights are much quicker and no chance of slower battles like with K. Sludge. It takes an incredibly long time though, it took me many, many hours.

This place is also good for getting money, But when your fighting golden slimes, You best be prepared, when you kill them (( I am now level 35-42 Because of this )) you get 85300 EXP and 15000 Coins

75% of the monsters on this island are easy. Death will knock out the A. Sludge in one shot, 100% of the time; the Gonghead(2) will only use Cure4 a few times before it runs out of power and the Chorking can be killed with any of the items bought in Guntz that deal damage.

If you run into a K.Sludge, however, you're probably going to die unless you have the G.Dragon spell. However, if you manage to kill all three the EXP is beyond amazing.

If I recall correctly, the spell "Death" also works wonders on the majority of the enemies of Giant Island (or whatever the island's name is). I'd never thought of Shot; awesome point!

you're also very low level to be at that island. I'm level 22 and just beat that witch castle. Playing a classic with hacks like this just destroys the fun of it, You shouldn't be at that island at that level.

yeah i used to go here to train, I downloaded this game on the Wii (Wii shop channel download for 800 points) and the music is kinda enhanced and the pictures on the menu screen look less drawn-out... and yeah, the battle screen is way more different

wow you get 26k+ exp points of these guys on the gba. On the snes you get 14k+ thats why i love the snes version more. Also if you speak to one of the old chars there he/she will mention a shiny rock. its actually shinyBR i think its something u equip in the etc slot it makes u immune to all negative stats. I remember getting it off they snes verision in 1995 lol

You can acutally take the Big green sludge out with Death if you have nina in the party, works faster then using Shot all the time. And the K. Sludges, well if you got the boombada spell just use that twice and then finish em off.

I used to call that "monster" island. Easy to lvl 99 there. Just run away from everything till you fight the Killer Sludges (smaller ones). Those give you the REAL exp.

At the WildCat Restaurant. Obey all the signs. On the last one say rare. After the boss fight talk to the Cook and answer with, Forgiven and Yes. Then he'll teach you chop chop. You can only do this before you have to find the royal ring.

Man! this game was actually this main reason why i started playing RPG, and then Chrono Trigger and FFVI, but this is my favorite for sure, i actually own the BOFII and FFVI cartridge ^^ never had tha chance to get the Chrono Trigger one :( ive played them all except V 'cause i went with the Xbox instead of the PS2, and when i biught the PS2 i couldn't find the BO5 hahaha anyway, there is also the golden those are the ones that really gives you a lot of exp. i used to play days in that island!

My memory's a little fuzzy on the easiest way to get there, but you can only get to it using the Great Bird/Flying Township. I think you go directly south of township, (before it's flying). The island will have 2 palm trees and 1 house that's an armory. You'll probably have to fight a while before you run into an N. Rider, (The island has mostly D. Brngrs). Hope this helps.

wow i just noticed the gameboy verison there double exp. wow try the SNES little more challenge. and by the way N.Rider island is a better way of leveling once u get mina or flying township. use sten to to sewh and find n.rider. *note* make sure sten has 530vigor and your hero a little below that. n.riders have 500+vigor. use gold dragon=both dead. great exp. actually the best better than ksludges. and have a chance to win notwin and medusa shields. anyone have any questions i know the game well

trust me man thats the secret. used to sell for 6000 gold. actually the secret is the recipe to make goldbars from ur township. 2 ways 3 cond up 3000gold if u have hanz.2dinker+2frizbee to make dinker 2frizbee. thats 600gold. cond ups r easier and faster but u can get urself started with the other recipe. sorry to disappoint you but thats the secret.

Recipe for Goldbars of my own. Put all your items in the bank and load up on frizbees @ Guntz except 1 item slot. Go to Hometown and use last item slot to buy 9 Shrimp. 2 frizbees cooked=1Dinker. 3 Dinker+1Shrimp cooked=2Goldbars. I think this ways faster and cheaper to do than using cond ups. 4880 GP total cost of frizbees and shrimp, get 12 Goldbars on average per session of cooking w/recipe (72000 GP) avg profit of 67120 per cooking session.

How is it crap? It can kill anything aside from bosses, in one hit.

I don't know if I'd call shot crap, but on the other hand, roughly 60-65% of the time it dosen't work. Unless the monster has the majority of their energy left, you're usually pissin in the wind, cause you'll probably kill em on the next turn. The only exception would be in this exact situation on the island, where you got stuff that's got a crapload of HP that you'd have to beat on a while before you kill it.

I was able to defeat two K Sludges together but not three K Sludges. Though I have leveled up some and beatthe pair of them with new abilities/spells like Renew (casts LifePl) and 8.0 (earthquake). I also used missile.

Nah, that's for A.Sludge, he's talking about K.Sludge. The reason they aren't in the video is probably because he got killed every time. They're a huge pain in the ass no matter what level you are as far as I know.

This island is even easier to level up then you think. You will need a character that has the ability to cast an ATTACK-UP spell. Use this spell on the main character and each battle should take you one hit for each monster on the screen.
