Great version indeed but I still prefer Rene Jacob's. Bernarda Fink is absolutely amazing in the Ninfa's part! Her "Taci" makes me cry every time...

Well Jacobs is not exactly my favorite conductor, but I can Imagine that Fink makes a great rendition of La Ninfa. However my favorite will allways be Invernizzi. =)

Yes! Now this is a decent interpretation of this lamento! Unlike the MANY other interpretations that treated it like a craved Bel-Canto piece.
Brava La Invernizzi! It is true that she NEVER deceives :)

LOL, I know what you mean, and yes, I agree with you, this is the most beautiful rendition till now of this lament, perhaps the best!. Just with hear how she sings the text, with deep emotion.
