@Hacksandmods365 got the sub from a guy on craiglist. ths surround was really weak and the coil windings came off the cone from rubbing on the motor. in other words it was cheap overrated shit.

@Hacksandmods365 if you hook it up to a 12v source it will drain the battery, unless you have a switch. the remote wire powers it on only when you turn the key. when u look up your stereo wiring it should be the wire labeled "switched"

this is how it goes for mine as an example

Car Radio Constant 12v+ Wire: Red - positive

Car Radio Switched 12v+ Wire: White/Green - remote wire

Car Radio Ground Wire: Black

@Hacksandmods365 yea u have to hook it up or the amp won't turn on. for that you need to look up the stock deck specs to see which wire it is. then you run a wire from that to the amp.

@Hacksandmods365 it's gonna have 4 wires. left and right channel. you hook it up to the wires going to your speaker connection. look to see if there is a positive and negative label on the speakers where the wires connect. if not the look it up online.
