If you find that too difficult, just kill Slash and return there, then do a double jump.

i love this game ... when i was 9 i played megaman 2 .. i came to the stage from mr. willy but it was too hard for me. i buyed x6 and played it ... it was very hard only 6bosses i could kill ... then my friend give me to my birthdary x5 and it was ... so goood better than x6... now i see those videos and thats a very good game... i will buy the megaman x collection i heard its very good ... so @all who play this in the gc anyone can say if its good with the gc controller?

hw did u even get zero to survive to space shuttle? i tried lauching both the enigma and the space shuttle without upgrades, and i always end up losing zero.

If you do it with no upgrades, it is totally random. Just save before you do it and keep trying until it works. ;)

On Ps1 it's better to play than snes. Yeah the hardest part is to gain the armor, but once you'll get to it not so crazy level yay i beat the game with all armors now, i only cant stand the redness dark background lol

Actually, with the smoothened edges, great playability, no loading times and ability to access main menu with F9 (not sure about which F* it is actually, but I think so. It's been a while), the PC version is superior. X4 is a whole different story, though.

Doesn't compare to the PS version if you don't have a game pad for your PC, though.

there is a cheat for the zero's Shadow armor just look it up on the internet, and the way he hits so fast with zero is a technique that everyone calls the Slash combo... yeah very unique anyways it is perfromed by hitting forward and the attack button rapidly

Damn, that's how you avoid enemies with Zer0 in the beginning. Good job
