chinese players design their racket with fh - spinny side, chinese tacky rubber; bh - speed side, japanese mechanical tension

it helps make up for the bh's lesser power vs the fh.

he's likely switching so the ball will bounce more from the higher tension rubber

it´s because he uses a hard rubber oh fh ( hurricane 3 neo) and a softer rubber on bh ( tenergy ). and smash with a soft rubber is easier than smash with a hard one

dude, Xu Xin is really something, huh? He is able to counter Ma Long's explosion on the table. His drives are not as powerful as Ma Long's but he has fast reaction and good angles on his shots. strategic as well.

I wonder what would happen if European all star (Boll, Samsonov, Kreaga, Maze and Schlager) vs Chinese youngster (Ma Long, Zhang Jike, Xu Xin, Chen Qi, Zhang Chao, anybody in the Chinese team other than Wang Hao, Ma Lin and Wang Liqin). These young Chinese players look pretty tough!!!

Well, i think it will be a slaughter. The chinese have way more talent. Only Boll and Samsonov can beat a chinese player here and there, but also love most of their matches against the chinese top 5.

What a nice game by Xu Xin, one thing I didn't like is that he tried to do "behind the back" backhand like 3-4 times if not more against a players who is ranked 2nd.. non of those attempts worked, if it worked sure it would be nice.. but those attempts costs points.

I've never seen someone use the backhand of the rbp grip so frequently, especially when many times Xu Xin could have tried to go for a forehand.
