YOUR MOUTH ARE TO LARGE TO...or you sale other kind of keyboards..anyway for 2000..box it sound great..and it is useful..i hope its will be reliable ..that like some other brand you dont need 2 units to make sure that you will not be in the sh...when you will plug it....About the sound its close of the original and for most of the people in the assistance then can even make a difference...EXCEPT FOR SOME BIG EAR AND MOUTH THAT KNOW EVRyTHING AND SH..GOLD..
I have the VK8m module and it sounds better on a live gig than the Nord (COSM emulation for both Amp sim and Leslie effect rock on the Roland) I have not tried the XK3 so no opinion there, but I can get the Roland to sound very similar to my 1959 Hammond M3. I love the Roland organ sim for gigging. Makes the blues, jazz and R&B gigs awesome!
It reminds me of Keith Emerson's tone. ;p And as I said, I'm quite sure it won't own Nord Electro 3 in any ways. But I'll still check it out! =D Btw, the piano is surprisingly good in this. But I reckon this will be far too expensive for what it's capable of..
ya Jordan is the KARSH of music....... karsh made award winning photos on a kodak instamatic........jordan could make TOYS R US keyboards sound very good
One new feature is the virtual tone wheel that responds to the proximity of your hand to the sensor...you can see Jordan use it in the first half of the video.
Wow!!! Awesome playing! And an absolutely amazing keyboard. It's about damn time we had an instrument like this introduced to the market. Count us in for one!
you know what?
i think it's better to improve your playing than gears..
even bad keyboard sounds great with nice harmony..
i prefer korg than this one tho..

I've heard other videos that sounded better than this tone but no not in person. Does not compare to Nord or even Hammond clonewheels though

Have you heard it in person? Maybe it's your computer. It's impossible to know what it really sounds like here.

so what's special about this keyboard? sounds so ordinary... so for NAMM I would expect to show some crazy stuff. a bit disappointed...
