The Real Salvation for Mankind - Islam or Christianity?

Thank you both for your explanations, I think its interesting to hear these teachings and opinions as I'm a Christian who is also studying Islam. Although I feel that some points regarding Christian beliefs on salvation are too vauge and in certain circumstances, incorrect I found this helped me a great deal in understanding Muslim beliefs and teachings. I will have to listen to it again and may follow up with some questions. God bless

Muslims should remember that when debating Christians, there are three main groups according to belief: Catholic, Orthodox and Protestant.

I think that much of the time in "debunking" Christianity, Muslims focus on Protestant theology. Especially when it comes to being "saved by faith in Jesus Christ alone". And, Protestant theology also believes the Bible *alone* is the source of God's truth.

Catholics and Orthodox see salvation like Muslims do. We are saved by our works, not just faith.

In true Christianity, like that of Cusa, or the Unitarians, Jesus is a prophet in the same way as he is in Islam. In Genesis 1:27 mankind is made in the image of God/ Allah, therefore, there is no requirement for Jesus to have been anything other than another, welcome, prophet for God/ Allah. There is just too much selective interpretation of Jesus's metaphors as being literal.

Imagine Adam and Eve, 90 feet tall-what huge beds they would have had to make for them and all their children!
