It depends on your screen size and resolution.

If your screen or TV is big, then the pictures will be under each other.

Not exactly screen size, but the amount of pixels. 576p will make both screens from splitscreen more wide. While 720p or 1080p will make them appear as in the video.

This will also depend on the format which takes priority over the pixels. 4:3(576p) will make both screen wide, 16:9(720p/1080p) will make them as in the video.

Oh, and if you want to, you can play with both screens more wide, just go to PS3 display options and unmark the 1080p and 720p options leaving the 576p option marked, you will be able to play with the screens more wide but with less quality.

Like I watch other ones and its also split screen on right and left side but on some its botom and top.

On PS3 multiplayer it's up and down but on cooperative campaign it always right and left.

However; it's always up and down for both modes on the Xbox 360.

In the main menu, there is an option called "Cooperative", in that screen select "Split-Screen"

4 player is only allowed in multiplayer not co-operative campaign, and yes, the PS3 does allow 4 player games (You can even connect 7 controllers at a time.).

A lot of games can be played with 4 players, but I have found a list with games that support up to 7 players: All-Pro Football 2K8 Bomberman Ultra Buzz! Cool, I have COD 4, and 5 for the xbox360.. but I have a ps3 and wii also. I JUST now got the wii, and completed the set. I don't even play them that much, but they each have really cool games and specialties. I wish I would have purchased the call of duty games for the ps3 though, cause I wouldn't require microsoft live otherwise.
