The Republican debate tone seems to consistently move towards hostility between the candidates. With the Democratic debates, it was just Mike Gravel yelling at everyone, including the audience. I am uncomfortable with the pettiness; whoever holds the office of the President of the United States needs to have better communication skills, and not take the bait for cheap punches at members of their own party.

He's a traditional republican. Back in Vietnam times for example, Johnson wanted to keep going. He was a democrat. Republicans were never like this. These republicans who advocate war call themselves conservative too which makes no sense with all this spending. And as far as Iraq goes, bush himself said Iraq had no WMDS but that it is about freedom, etc. Look up H.R.1234, it involves bringing in an international peacekeeping force into Iraq to rebuild it.
