Once the Christian 'Right' realizes that fighting the War on Terror is designed to bring down America and is doing so currently, then we can have a Ron Paul elected and the devil will be defeated.
Conservatives need to realize that all our current wars are based on lies and designed to bankrupt America. Smart people should love our soldiers and vote out the warmongers.
If Ron Paul is not the GOP candidate in 2012, I think you will be suprised to find alot of votes going to the LP and CP in strong numbers. Millions of votes the GOP cannot afford to lose. Maybe Lindsay Graham is right about hijacking the GOP? Give us liberty or we give you Obama again! Lol
Why dumbass? Why is that all you've really got to say? And honestly, do you believe that she went around calling Reagan the anti-Christ? Don't give me that. I doubt that she hated them just as much. Unless she's the biggest racist in the world, there's no reason that she suddenly switched sides and began hating the president that much. You just thought you had a great point, I bet. But why dumbass? If you want me to treat you with respect, then why call me that?
You know it's funny that she hates deficits and debt so much. I guess she must not like Reagan or the Bushes either, then. You know, considering that Reagan quadrupled the deficit and that both Bushes kept his policy of "Who cares about the poor?" going. But screw that Clinton, who balanced the budget. that was evil or something. And to hell with Obama, who is trying to fix the horrible mess that W. Bush made. Curse them and their love of helping people. That's not what America stands for!
I can see you have a very one-sided, and stereotypical view of conservatives that is becoming all too common. You need to realize that your liberal media lies to you through the omission and distortion of facts just as Fox News does; networks like CNN and MSNBC simply omit different facts than Fox News omits. The result is that people who are genuine paleo-conservatives have no media, and thus to you we don't exist. Realize that there are millions of "invisible" conservatives who oppose neo-cons
Furthermore, Bill Clinton and much of the media have lied to you about the supposed budget surpluses of the 90's. In reality, Clinton actually stole hundreds of billions of dollars from the off-balance sheet Social Security and Medicare Trust Funds to pay for items in the General Budget. FY 1999 was the ONLY year Clinton ran a surplus. He is just as responsible for running this country into the ground as the Republican Congress and GW are.
I'll further add I often here among liberals that the so many Republicans are manipulated to vote against their "better interests." This is true, but your Democrat party has also been manipulating you to vote against your own interests. They're just more deceptive. Obama has exactly the same economic policy that Bush had (which is really just let the Federal Reserve handle everything while passing token stimuli to make you think he's actually doing something.)
Yawn. You assume I haven't heard all this before. Rather than debunk it all again, I'll just say its funny how you assume that Democrats are lying about everything and are huge thieves. And I don't even watch CNN and MSNBC because I don't have either of those channels. So I don't want to hear about my liberal this and my liberal that. I can't afford to watch them. And trust me, I know those conservatives that oppose the neocons. But you don't sound like any of them to me. You're too hate filled
Debunk? that Clinton stole from the SS & Medicare Trust Funds? I guarantee you that you can't because it's simply NEVER been done. Unless you're going to reassert the "technical" surplus line, there isn't anything to say but Clinton's creative accounting made it appear as though total revenues exceeded expenditures when they did not. Don't confuse legitimate anger over being marginalized and stereotyped with hate. I've worked for years against the neo-cons in political campaigns. Have you?
1.This woman and apparently most commenters don't know that what has wrecked the budget since the surplus is military spending and tax cuts, mostly for the rich.
2.She says countries, not people. Most people borrow in a vain attempt to keep their middle class life in the face of attacks on it by the right wing.
But what would you expect from people who value education so little they don't know the difference between your and you're, and make a couple of spelling mistakes per sentence?
LALALA I am singing a song for you republicans" loving every minute of it oh yeah loving every minute of it " what fools going after your own, can see the democrat ad now not even republicans like Graham vote democrat. ahahahahhahaha republicans against republicans. More more I love how foolish you are and cant wait for the democrat ad with all the Graham footage this week lol Lovin every minute of it hahaha.
jrjones529: The sad fact is that Ron Paul supporters are not normal. They hold the values enshrined in the constitution and are moral and self reliant people. This is certainly no longer the norm and is mocked by the shallow minded masses who have unwittingly supported their own enslavement.
Wow lots of emotion there roncf1. First of all who are you to call me a fool for making assumptions when you yourself draw some far reaching conclusions based on one sentence.
Umm Saxrider-the borrowing and debt began back under Reagan. If you'd been paying attention then and under Bush you might have some credibility. Our treasury has been looted for the last 20 years or so. "Debt is good" was the basic tenet of Reaganism. Where were you and your prescient biblical interpretations then?
The government..like anything else socialistic. Has made people dependent upon them. Medicare is the same. It should be overturned and got rid of. But not at once. People need to be weened off of it. Just like drug addicts.
The 17th amendment was put into place to make the process democratic... the citizens of a state should vote for their senators, not the political elites who call the shots in the state capitols.
The states do not have a say in Washington D.C. anymore. When they took the vote away from the state legislatures giving it to an ignorant electorate. They striped the power from the states.
90 % of the voters don't even know who the politicians are that they are voting for. Anyways the people have their representation from their congressman. By the way should be increased in size, because they are loosing touch with the people in their districts. Start reading.
So you would rather the PEOPLE lose their voice in who gets elected to the federal government and leave it to the state legislator? Maybe i'm jaded because i live in Illinois, but i don't trust the state government anymore than i trust the federal government. repealing the 17th amendment would destroy democracy in this country. Under your logic, citizens are stupid and can't be trusted to make a rational decision and therefore should lose the right to vote for their senators. Just some thoughts.
The will not loose their voice. They would have to become aware of who their representatives to their states legislative body are. And vote accordingly. This system was set up as a Republic not a Democracy. As it is now. The states do not have a voice in Washigton. If they did. You wouldn't see all the deficits we see now. If you didn't like who the senators are from your state. You could vote out who put them in. Srry about the Illinois thing. I used to live there. Daleyruns your state. Crooked
@iwustudent101: If you take issue with her references to the bible, perhaps you should read some of it, and come up with an improved perspective. I'd even venture to say, we're not even talking religion here. It's just simple uncommon sense. I find it amazing that 2000 years ago, someone recognized often repeated problems, and mentioned it in a book that far in advance. It's like "Hey stupid, if you borrow money, you're a slave to the lender"...yet people borrow like there's no tomorrow

If you need the word of God to prevent you from doing bad things, then keep it.. I'm more afraid of you than some Politician. Just don't bring that crap to my front door.
Right. These people call themselves libertarians and Constitutionalists, but always have to throw in their Christian beliefs, rather than simply support freedom of/from religion and leave it at that.
let them mention God. You can be one of the liberty lovers that doesn't mention God. I'm OK with that. I rarely mention God, when I'm discussing my anti-big-government views. Don't be so sensitive.

Dumbass.
