I'm sorry but I have to agree with BoerboelBoy... a red lightbar combined with a siren should be more than enough to get people to notice you. I don't think having 10X more lights will necessarily make people move out of the way any faster.
I can't help but think that all these lights are just to make the truck look cool... why else would you be posting all these videos on YouTube?
Don't get me wrong, it IS a nice truck, I just think it would be a lot cooler without all the additional lights.
Ever try to get cars to move out of the way with just one blue or red light? I bet you would feel different if it was your house burning or some you knew was have a medical issue and the responders could not get there in time to save the life or house.
You seriously did this to your 40k dollar POV? I could maybe understand if this were a duty officers vehicle or something like that. But a POV? My lord. The nicest part about your car is the vehicle itself, and the LED taillights. The rest is an eyesore and brings an entire new meaning to "Stem Whacker"
My only complaint is the 2 extra LEDs on the dash. Passenger and driver sides. You have wig-wags in bar to take those spots. Maybe a couple in the grill. Other than that, I love it!! Looks great all around!!
I like! what about a traffic advisor, I find I'm not as worried about people moving out of my way as I am them slamming into the back of me once I've gotten there
we can have 1 blue light in NY, although. I was just reading some of the laws a couple weeks ago, and it states, that any EMS agency can give you permission to have red lights and sirens on your car. But none of our EMS companies will do it!!
I tell you what, that makes NO sense to me. (Perhaps it's because I'm from the south, where every other POV is equiped with red lights.) Some liberal administrator probably doesn't understand that getting to the station fast is essential. People can burn to death, trapped in their homes because volunteer firemen can't get their soon enough because their in their POV's caught in traffic! I'm sorry for you, being a volunteer in NY must rot.
You make a very good point. I was discussing this with a friend of mine the other day, and it makes much more since, for volunteers to run reds and sirens! Response times would be brought down drastically and in a working fire situation, or a serious mva, response times make a difference. Sure there is liability for the fire department, so i think that in order for volunteers to be allowed reds, they need to take cevo.
That sir, is one bad-ass POV.

Oh, and I see from your other videos you're also running a siren? What's wrong with you? Take a look at Virginia Code section 46.2...

Why violate the Virginia Code so blatantly? It's only a courtesy light, for goodness sake.
