I haven't seen them a lot, but every once in a while if you go into a bead shop that has antique beads with a black light, you can find a couple, I'd say I've seen about 150 of them in the last few years...

lol Don't you know it's not as bad as it has be sensationalized to be... And I can't speak for others, but as a person who is going into particle physics and/or nuclear engineering, it's kind of important...
could u send me some uranium glass stuff please =(. I live in Estonia and no antique shop sells this stuff around here.(believe me ive checked every single one I have found)
That's a neat bead and marble! Is that real Jadeite though, or a uranium-doped imitation? Wikipedia (which may or may not be reliable) lists all the different types of jadeite and they're all "inert to weak" with flourescence under longwave light, while I'd consider yours to glow pretty strongly... that plus the radioactivity of them would suggest they're actually fakes. Still interesting nonetheless though!

It isn't the mineral jadeite, it's depression glass named jadeite for it's similar appearance.

Ohh okay, I didn't knew that officially existed lol. Thanks for clearing that up!
